Game Crashing still?

I played this game back when I have my ps4 but now that i have a pc i wanted to play it again... Every time i launch the game it crashes... every time i launch the game through the game files it will load up then i get stuck with the graphics setting thing does anyone possibly have a fix for this or is the game just borked???

Something I put on my own post about this last year

Go to World of Final Fantasy in your steam library, right click it and go to manage > browse local files.
You should get taken to the game's folder. Right click on WOFF (not WOFF_config) > properties > compatibility tab > checkmark "Run program as administrator"
This got the game to start working for me again.

I went through all of the processes that were suggested in multiple threads here to fix my game (i.e. run as administrator, use compatibility mode), but none of them fixed my game. Ultimately, the fix that worked for me was to disable cloud saving for the game and it worked right away. Just one more thing to look at.

im gonna be honest i made the view awhile ago and we fixed the dlc and other issues with it though the vid and comments i havent touched the game at all and i was really hoping to play it but with the amount of issues the game has on pc i was afraid to do a playthrough or stream playthrough of it

Launching the game (exe) from the game's folder worked fine for me. Just right click the game in your library and go to properties, open the game folder and launch WOFF

I had to do the Game id trick to get it to work and still have to runt he EXE from the game folder..wont run via steam but once you run it all steam stuff works fine

Just an additional tip for the people who have to run it from the folder exe, if you create a shortcut of that exe, you can change the properties so the shortcut auto runs as admin and send that to your desktop so you dont have to constantly navigate to the local files
