Greetings programs ! Follow instructions fully and WOFF will work once again may not work for everyone but may work first go to directory of World of Final Fantasy right click and properties go to Security and make sure your personal ID/Windows user is in this list if Click edit then add then advanced then find now make sure full control,modify,Read & execute, read and write set this for both WOFF and WOFF_config Second set compatibility to windows 7 and run as admin,then Change DPI settings to first dialog box then select i open this program then second check mark and select Application ,next add this to the main DIR of WOFF,steam_appid.txt then in the Text file add 552700,then verify game in steam right click game in DIR run as admin game should work if it doesnt please contact me Roxas997 or Richard202016 we worked hours to fix this and came up with this solution Warning some users maybe able to boot game from steam others may be only be able to boot from folder dont know the issue with that but it happens let us know if this fixes it for you Enjoy we will make a youtube vid update adding video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7PTgWVMoQM

Also Make Sure To Have WOFF CONFIG In Windowed / Resolution At 1600x900 / Shadow Resolution 512 / Post-Processing Enabled. This Is Not Required But Might Help

Update: this works but I have to launch directly from WOFF.exe in the game directory and run as admin.

Correct launching from steam seems to have some issues on launching run from directory or make shortcut on desktop

Thank you! Works for me after adding user + permissions, and running as admin for windows 7, the steps after that were not necessary for me.

new update: can launch via max resolution we ran it at 1600x900 as a test from a previous forum for kh 2.8 we know not the same game but same publisher any questions feel free to ask us

update for save data backups since there was a discussion for onedrive backups failing please copy your saves from this location to a off system backup if you need backups %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\WOFF\<user-id>\
