treasure tracker

Hiya, I had beaten the game and everything and was still missing some treasure chests for my achievement. Bought the dlc and figured i'd play new game + nightmare to find all the chests this time with the treasure tracker but I do not seem to have this function.

Am I meant to find this item somewhere first or is it a button combo to use it i was not told of by the game?

Treasure Tracker is an item in your inventory, at the bottom of one of the lists.

I did not get it. So how do I go about getting it now please?

If you have Maxima, and you are in the post game, you have the Treasure Tracker. If you do not have the tracker, you are either not in post game, or you don't have Maxima.

I beat the game beat xg or what his name is did the ex dungeons. Then bought maxima and started new game + and turned on nightmare difficulty. I went through all tabs in my inventory and can not find the items. :/

Maybe it bugged on me. Is there a way I can modify the game files to get it perhaps?

If I had to guess, the problem is that you went into New Game+. You aren't in post game anymore, and the tracker might not carry into NG+.

Is it only meant to be used post game is it? I though you just had to beat the game in full first before getting the advantage item!

I do not know for certain, I have not poked at NG+, but I would assume you have to be in post game to use the tracker.

Did you not get the option to link your save file to the NG+? sounds like you just went into a new game completely

I did it asked me to transfer data. and I have all my old levels and mirages etc so that worked fine.

does not carry to NG+ I tried my self... sad really because it would be better the second time around.
