Towards the end I replaced the L mirages with Sand Worm and Sea Worm because having gravity counter was pretty good. I also levelled S mirages with 3 blank spaces (dramut and master moogle) so I could give them the three aga spells and the worms waterga and aeroga. I like mirages with blank spaces but I can't ever see a time when I will switch out the twins because you lose 16 mirajewels.
Dramut (Firaga Blizzaga Thundaga)
Reynn
Sand Worm (Waterga Aeroga Banishra)
Master Moogle (Firaga Blizzaga Thundaga)
Lann
Sea Worm (Waterga Aeroga Abyss)
This setup gives you gravity counter as well. The worms are not found until later though so until then use Iris and Holy Dragon. Status ailments can just be bought in the shop and you can just put things like dispel and reflect as mirajwels. Only prismtunity that will be a pain is the stat affecting ones but I just searched up a particular mirage for those.
The reason I don't have the baby mages up top anymore is because they only have one blank space. They do a bit less magic damage but its worth it to have 3 extra slots. Until you get the 3 blank spaces S mirages though, zapt and bablizz are probably the best although mandragora also good early on. Kaguya Flan and Mimic Jackpot are good in Jiant stacks also.
Other notable stacks would be these but you can't make them until much later:
Sharpened 🔪 (huge single target damage). Stack Crit or accuracy seeds
Baby tonberry
Tonberry / Master Tonberry (3 spaces)
King Tonberry
Evasion/Hp Leech/Regen stack. Stack Evasion seeds.
Werebat
Vampire / Mist Dragon
Vampire Prime
XL mirages to level:
Behemonster and Bahamut. Both have ridiculously overpowered moves at low hp.
Sorry to bother you, recently i decided to play this game after getting the platinum on FF16 and found very little information about stacks and so, until i got to your post talking about some combinations which sounded very knowledgeable, if you remember, could you go into detail and explain what mirajewels, attacks… you gave to those stacks? Also in the stack that you mention baby tomberry, regular tomberry and a Large stack with a singular strong physicial attack, could that be yojimbo or marilith?
Thanks in advance!
