Best stack?
Hello guys I'm searching for a good stack before the end game and after the end game (without characters in the stack). Now I'm using:
Zapt (S) - Reynn (M) - Shiva (L)
Minifrit (S) - Death Searcher (M) - Lann (L)
Is it good?

Ive had the three baby magic users the whole game. As for L mirages initially I was using Iris and Holy Dragon and M mirages Kaguya Flan and Mimic Jackpot

Towards the end I replaced the L mirages with Sand Worm and Sea Worm because having gravity counter was pretty good. I also levelled S mirages with 3 blank spaces (dramut and master moogle) so I could give them the three aga spells and the worms waterga and aeroga. I like mirages with blank spaces but I can't ever see a time when I will switch out the twins because you lose 16 mirajewels.

Personally I think this is one of the best all round setups...

Dramut (Firaga Blizzaga Thundaga)
Reynn
Sand Worm (Waterga Aeroga Banishra)

Master Moogle (Firaga Blizzaga Thundaga)
Lann
Sea Worm (Waterga Aeroga Abyss)

This setup gives you gravity counter as well. The worms are not found until later though so until then use Iris and Holy Dragon. Status ailments can just be bought in the shop and you can just put things like dispel and reflect as mirajwels. Only prismtunity that will be a pain is the stat affecting ones but I just searched up a particular mirage for those.

The reason I don't have the baby mages up top anymore is because they only have one blank space. They do a bit less magic damage but its worth it to have 3 extra slots. Until you get the 3 blank spaces S mirages though, zapt and bablizz are probably the best although mandragora also good early on. Kaguya Flan and Mimic Jackpot are good in Jiant stacks also.

Other notable stacks would be these but you can't make them until much later:

Sharpened 🔪 (huge single target damage). Stack Crit or accuracy seeds
Baby tonberry
Tonberry / Master Tonberry (3 spaces)
King Tonberry

Evasion/Hp Leech/Regen stack. Stack Evasion seeds.
Werebat
Vampire / Mist Dragon
Vampire Prime

XL mirages to level:
Behemonster and Bahamut. Both have ridiculously overpowered moves at low hp.

S Mini tonberry

L King tonberry

Both Gravity stacks is late game build where your main damage is from using gravity until your
other spells or attacks deals more damage than gravity.
Gravity deals fixed % damage on target's current HP.

Magic stacks with carbuncle is for 'later' game when you can deal decent magic damage and not rely on gravity, Carbuncle can pierce enemies with reflect statuses and and party-reflect buff, and buff to increase your defense and magic defense, although not as good as shell/protect but they do stacks if you have the spells.

Magic stacks V2 is for 'later' game after you can survive decently without the need of carbuncle's reflect and defense buff as it is a stack more 'offense' oriented.

Crit stacks is for postscript, after you are stronger, making use of mini/tonberry's enhance critical and using critical++ seeds on them makes your L monsters hit way harder if they do crit, my elefenrir hits for over 20k, and somebody's shivalry can hit for max damage which is 99999 even on monster resisting ice.

Sharpened Knife stacks is for end game where you can deal tons of physical damage with sharpened knife, but you need to give accuracy++ seeds on those tonberries in that stack, else your skill is gonna miss often. Sharpened Knife is a skill with 100% critical rate.
Hi!

Sorry to bother you, recently i decided to play this game after getting the platinum on FF16 and found very little information about stacks and so, until i got to your post talking about some combinations which sounded very knowledgeable, if you remember, could you go into detail and explain what mirajewels, attacks… you gave to those stacks? Also in the stack that you mention baby tomberry, regular tomberry and a Large stack with a singular strong physicial attack, could that be yojimbo or marilith?

Thanks in advance!
