How does one farm arma gems?
There was a "Tip" about going to the colosseum and get from there. But it was just one fight and after beating it, it changed its reward and I got no new fights with arma gem as rewards

I think there's one or two monsters in the extra areas than can drop it. Search in the Mirage Manual for it. Hopefully you have scanned it with Libra before and the info appears.

I am pretty sure the mutliplayer offers Arma Gems as reward.
Otherwise, as Herzenswärme said there is a chance for them dropping from some monsters in the extra areas
