Yeah, I had the same issue. I just reached the ice area and I think I'm missing something there too, the ice barriers don't seem to be showing up.

Probably some kind of AMD thing. Saw another thread like this. AMD Radeon R9.
Thinking about getting a new graphics card. Keep having issues like this in more than a few games.

shiva's hair, ice area's gate, and sea/water surfaces(chapter 8 area), these are things that i found that has missing/transparent texture

Hoping this gets fixed soon and not go unpatched for half a year before a driver update fixes it. Nier.

Another one I've noticed no one has yet to mention, in the scene where first appearing, Segwarides' head just... doesn't exist.

I'm gonna say there's probably more things this issue makes disappear in cutscenes people who've played the game before haven't noticed due to skipping scenes.

Someone should really start compiling all the things this fun lil graphical issue makes disappear into the void.

also missing some visual pop up menus like when you go to save and it says yes/no

Had the same problem with the R9 270. Went and bought a 1060 today the hair issue went away but now it's crashing when I pick up a Dualizard, or randomly when going into a different zone. Crash report doesn't say much either.
