Game Running In Slow Motion/ Stuttering
I've got an odd problem when running the game. I noticed the characters take an awkward pause when speaking to eachother and mouth animations can't keep up with the dialogue (In Japanese or English). When moving around the pair also look like they're running in low gravity. I turned on the fps counter and bingo, it's running at 24fps. Why this makes the actual game slow down though I don't know. I'm running on:

i7 6700k
32gb ddr4
gtx1070

I went to the nvidia control panel to try some settings that would get rid of it and noticed something else. Whenever I click 'Apply', the game runs at 30fps like it's supposed to, but seconds later after the changes are done being applied, it drops immediately to 24fps again. I've tried every kind of combination of nvidia settings I can think of, and tried windowed mode, running the game on the lowest settings it can go to from the config menu, still stays at 24fps in slo-mo.

I don't mind the lower frame rate, but when it seems to be tied to the game in such a way, it makes every movement feel a sluggish and navigating the menus fiddly, having to make inputs twice because it didn't register the first time, etc.

If anyone's got any idea of what this could be please give me a holla, My comp runs all other games well and I've got the latest drivers installed. Thanks!!

EDIT

Changing the cpu and gpu power settings to high performance made the game hit 30 fps again (ty Chouchers). I also turned off the overlay in geforce experience for good measure. Now the only problem is stuttering. About every second it feels like a frame has skipped, even though the counter states it's running at 30fps.

As Obi Wan Stoney says, turning it to 720p gets rid of the stutter, BUT AT WHAT COST? Any suggestions on where to go from here would be very much appreciated, in the meantime I'll keep looking.

Try forcing V-Sync and G-Sync in NVIDIA Control Panel. That's work for my rig. :Nepgear:

Try make sure it not run on intel hd and force it your on your GTX1070 by nvidia control panel. This usely is not issuse with desktops unless your use hdmi or other VGA ports form your motherboard.

Is it just drop to 24fps if is check vsync turn it off see game runs better or power setting of both cpu and gpu make sure they in high performance mode.

Thanks for the help! Changing the cpu power settings to high performance got it to play at normal speed. The only thing that's still wonky now is a rhythmic stutter when anything moves. As the camera moves it jerks/freezes every second or so in a rhythm. I'm still trying to get rid of it, if anyone can drop some more sweet knowledge on me I'd be grateful. Cheers!

I'm having the same exact issue but only when running the game in 1920x1080 resolution. When I put the game in 720p it runs fine but then I feel like I'm experiencing an inferior version of the game. If you could offer some advice as to how you bypassed this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

I am also running on a GTX1070, and, I seem to have issues with objects in motion and moments ingame where the camera pans (Like first entry to Grimoire).

Its fairly subtle but its also fairly uncomfortable for my eyes.

I use SpecialK, and, its GUI indicated that the FPS is not being affected - it reports constant 30fps without even a single frame drop. So this issue is weird, (If anyone is using SpecialK, the golbal injection isnt working for WoFF, but it works only when added as a local installation).

running a similar build to you and wierdly mine does the opposite, whenever i enter combat, the animations and menu's are running at like 10X speed without even using the speed up option

Yes I've got the same thing, running it at 720p fixes the stutter, but it looks like the vita version I agree haha.

I noticed it first of all when going into Grimoire also, the characters looked fine but the trees going by looked very stutterific.

For god's sake is there a way this port won't mess up time? I can't believe I'm having this much trouble getting a game to run at 30fps. Hopefully this will be the rare occasion SE patch it up a little.
