[BUG] [Resolved] Game Crashes Every Few Miniutes.
Seems like a memory leak of some kind. The game crashes on clockwork. Hope it'll be fixed soon.

Thus far I can only say that i've played with the shadow settings. Using Windowed Mode with post processing on.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, build 16299)
Intel i7 CPU
DX12
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

EDIT: A link to another game having a similar issue with the XAudio2_7.dll seems to have resolved it. Will update if issues resurface

Another solution is to run SERVICES, and stop the Touch screen typing program:
Press Win + R, type 'services.msc', press Enter
Find 'Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service', and double tap/click it
Click Stop
Select 'disabled' at 'Startup type'

This program has a 15 minute timer and it quits XAUDIO2_7.dll for some reason 15 minutes into a game, causing your game to crash. Unless you have a touch screen and use it for typing, you can permanently turn it off using the above steps. Worked for me.

edit2: marking as resolved. I have not had a crash again since.

When reporting crashes, post PC specs, OS and what kind of error is it. GPU driver crash, game itself etc. Check in event viewer. It will help you and others.

Same! I can't find a solution to fix this game. I have 5820k and 1080ti

Updated with crash from event viewer, and specs that i could tell was relevant.

Looks potentially related to the Audio?

Bump: Found other games have a problem with the DLL listed

https://steamcommunity.com/app/311560/discussions/0/528398719804196382/

Trying stopping the touch and handwriting service to see if it helps. They said that for some reason, this service may stop the DLL

Report back whether it fixed it or not, maybe mods will sticky the solution if everything works out for you.

Thanks for the touch issue tip, I just disabled the service and am about to try the game again. I've crashed like four times already geez... this game needs to be better optimized. I know what my laptop is capable of and this is unacceptable

That faulting dll file is related to Audio...

Yeah, the worst part is apparently if you use the 'other' solution, it 'will' cut your audio when you play.

Well, this particular crash seems to actually be a conflict, rather than optimization. Another program basically resets a dll the game uses for sound.

Can play without crashing now, thanks a bunch

We fixed the crashing of our game with updating our graphic card driver from nvidia. And we are playing in windowed mode. With old drivers constant crashes, with newest no crashes since.

Another thing is, we unplugged our Wacom Intuos. I read about the touch panel thing above, dunno if the wacom had something to do with it.

i5 3570k with 24 GB RAM and 1070gtx.
