Are you aware of the definition of irony?
Also consider this: what is more likely to represent the truth: media from countries which encourage freedom of expression, where the media constantly criticises its leaders and itself - or media from a country where almost all the media is controlled by the state, where it's now possible to get fines or even prison terms for speaking negatively about the war in Ukraine? Where even well-meaning criticism, intended to improve things such as logistics etc. is being self-censored due to Government pressure?
I'm sorry but can you remind me - where did Seymour Hersh's latest investigation was published? You know - the one about the Nord Stream sabotage?
Was it the New Yorker? Washington times? No?
For some inexplicable reason multiple award winning legendary investigative journalist had immediately been made untouchable for all media and forced to use Substack platform to publish his material.
If it was anyone less famous - we wouldn't even know about it. They'd simply go into quiet obscurity.
There is no free major independent media in the west anymore. It's long been turned into access media that tows the party line out of fear of losing access to the govt controlled news sources and monetization that comes from publishing them. And anyone who goes against the grain gets marginalized and pushed out of the sunlight.
Just because the censorship is not explicit does not make it less bad. If anything it's much more disgusting and insidious. And people like you that help prop up the lie about the "western media freedom" despite all of the evidence to the contrary are their stooges that hammer in the nails into the coffin of actual free speech.
Oh sweet summer child...
We do have left and right leaning outlets. Usually the conservative rightwing extremist parties and their nazi-fetishism is backed by Putin.
Which irony is that? Real classical irony, or the modern western definition of it? I mean democracy, freedom, racism etc etc doesn't mean the same thing there anymore. When I grew up (and I'm not even that old), in our textbooks these things that had completely different meaning, not what MSM and the corrupt governments preach today.
It's basically textbook Orwellian at this point (if you haven't read 1984, I suggest you do it), where war is peace, slavery is freedom and yada yada.
Don't know about that, but I do know that you can get fired, pay fines, and even end up in prison, for expressing support for Russia/Putin, put a Z sticker on your car or similar things - this in the EU. Not to mention all discrimination against Russia nationals (as far as I know Ukrainians don't get discriminated in Russia)
How does that differ from your accusation? And besides Russia never claimed to be the bastion of freedom (to my knowledge), while the West continously struts around and claims it is just that.
Point and case?
Right-wing politicians in the Russian government? I can only recall Rogozin, who was in the right-wing party in 2000, and who is always cited as proof of the existence of Nazism in Russia. The Rusich battalion? Yes, there is such a battalion, but it is not supported by the government.
To say that there is Nazism in Russia is the same as saying that there is none in Ukraine (after all, if the party is not social-nationalist, but national-socialist, then everything changes immediately). This is simply unsubstantiated (because it is impossible to judge the whole country by individual manifestations). And if it's so bad in Russia, then why did 40% of people who left because of the start of the special operation return, and Transverse and others like him are surprised that in bright and beautiful America, drug addicts have fun on the streets at night?
By the way, hello to those who complained (or who deleted, hello to the developers) about my comment indicating the reasons for the start of the special operation. It was deleted, leaving only the answer to ONE line.
I love you too, my dear, don't insult me, find arguments.
Rape? As Arestovich said: there are 3 days left of Viagra. (The military is kind of fighting, why do they need civilians? If a soldier's nerves give out, he is sent to the rear, for treatment, for example).
Killing civilians? Do you mean Bucha? It's ridiculous.
Russian death camps for children? Actually, it's called Artek - a children's health camp.
Just so you know, Russians still consider Ukrainians to be a fraternal people, even after the appearance of Nazism there. And I'm sincerely worried about my friends in Ukraine, but I can't help them. That's sad.

mmm ruZ ♥♥♥♥ propaganda
we have proff
ruz: your proff are not proff
Scott Ritter released his investigation into the situation in Bucha and explained that the Russian troops could not do what they are accused of, while providing evidence. How do you explain the fact that some people who are kind of anti-revived suddenly get up when they almost don't get into the frame?
How do you explain, most importantly, the white armbands on many people? It is very simple to explain them - the Ukrainians marked themselves that way, showing loyalty to the Russian troops. There are many stories of normal interaction between the Russian military and Ukrainian civilians - I even know several narrators personally.
It was precisely because these people exchanged with the military (and most importantly, not that, but the fact that they are Russians) that they were anti-revived.
How do you explain the fact that the Azov battalion went on a "safari" on April 1? Now try to guess when the videos of the bodies appeared. Even a Mexican journalist said that the bodies appeared no earlier than the day before the hype was promoted, so there was no way they could have stayed after the withdrawal of the troops, which occurred about a week before.
Propaganda has nothing to do with it. Look for facts. Try to convince me, and not just feed me that my opinion is wrong and yours is right. Such a position is simply not viable.
You can also mention that as found by the forensic experts a lot of civillians had died from the flechette ammunition. A lot of western media had made fuss about how barbarous it was.
However in their usual manner they conveniently forget to mention that flechettes are exclusively used in artillery shells.
Which raises an interesting question: if Russian troops were inside of Bucha and the civillians that were next to them in Bucha had suffered from the flechette artillery - who was the one that had fired these shells?
Did Russians use the heavy artillery to fire at their own positions?
It's a tragic thing that the western media and education system are doing to people in US and Europe. Even when the contradictions are staring them in the face - they lack both the critical thinking skills and the courage to challenge the ideas that are being spoon-fed to them by their thoroughly leashed access media.
By the way, can you comment on the rest of my message somehow? I'm looking forward to it.
Scott Ritter

Priceless. I couldn't ask for a better example of my argument.
