My rusty knife disappeared.

I just started playing and bought a rusty knife from the magazine in the first town. I used it a few times to chop up critters but I noticed at one point it was gone. I don't remember seeing a notification that it broke and I don't see a game log to look through events. Any suggestions about what happened?

Greetings! Every time a rusted weapon breaks your character has text hovering above them saying this happened and a line also gets written in the log, we just checked this to make sure. Did it not appear in the log for you? Might be a bug! If so please email us your save file where this happened to [e-mail]
