Help with Tattoo contest please

Howdy,

Sooo I am currently trying really hard to get the special reward from winning said tournament. For some reason though the closest I am getting to winning is that I am just "good, too good" and nothing else. My Dex and AT are 10 each my Int is only 3 however... is there literally no way for me to win the tournament with low Int? Or is it just a combination of different things I need to do right to win? The wiki said you dont NEED to succeed the first check as long as your overall score is 24... whatever that means.
If anyone could give me the exact steps of winning that would me amazing because I am getting really tired of trying...

What kind of tattoo did you go for?

You can technically use booze to upgrade your DEX to 11.
INT and AT, I dont think there are ways to raise those.

I picked the guys chest, the church and angels and blah blah blah heaven as line... I also punched the guy who tried to mess with my work

Try not punching the dude, I remember I didnt. I used DEX to fix whatever he messed up, I didnt sabotage anyone.

Did you pass the first check? The AT, Dex, Int one?

You can raise your Attention by wearing a Miner's Hat, you find those on stalkers in the underground, there is a random encounter where they fight demons, just let them die and loot one from their corpse.

As for the Dexterity beer, I just noticed it reduces your DEX by 1 but you have a 30% chance of raising your DEX by 1, negating the reduction, so.. yeah, that doesnt work.

Sweet Rolls give you +1 Dex, you could eat 2 of these to get your Dex up!
You can buy them in KGZ

If you havent found and used the stat boosting serums, you might want to try that.

Wow, that is some helpful reply O.o Especially knowing I can murder that Artyom guy the easy way.... got so sick and tired of trying to steal that key from him.

I just noticed Sweet Rolls give you +1 Dex, you could eat 2 of these to get your Dex up!
You can buy them in KGZ butI found some in a store location out in the wastes of Dead City (west of the Harbor)

If you have low INT, The amulet of Shadows will also give you +1 ATT and +1 DEX, you can find that in the KGZ catacombs if you blow up the goat statue with explosives.

Unfortunately if you have bad stats you won’t be able to win this. I did with my stats but think I had to boost one of them before the contest too.
