Getting the cube in dead city?

I heard that the cube the stalker is holding in dead city can grant you +1 stats permanently, is there a way of getting the cube that does not involve personality or pickpocketing? Both my stats are very poor, and i'd rather not kill everyone in the outpost.

Or can i somehow kill him without making the others mad?

EDIT: It seems it requires 6 personality for him to show it to me, mine is 2, any way to raise it by 4 points?

Why no with personality?unless you have 1 Personality:P give ciggys until he dies, you have to do the same with the guy with the key:(
The quest feels incomplete since it requires you to do a lot of hard things or just kill people without a reason
I want a way to do it without killing the guy

Seems like you can stack the buffs from joints twice as well as the perfume... Didn't know that

There is a second part to the quest where you have to pickpocket the key or kill him with 60 ciggys, i gave up on that quest since i already had the +3 stats from the other secret stuff:P
i will do it later, maybe they change it

Any consumable. Like boosting luck to 10 with alcohol to get the special fish.

Yeah, i'm not sure my pickpocket is good enough to give him even cigarettes, maybe i'll just kill him like in the video

Good option:) remember the 30 diesel:) he also should have a dragunov sniper and the merchant stalker has tons of ammo.
You can give usable items to npc, including companions, that's how you buff your own companions.
By giving someone 60 ciggys you kill them:)
If you want more info on how to buff companions and your main character you could watch the first minutues of this video:) but careful, it's a bit of a spoiler but it does how to win almost every combat

The can be stolen with 190 pickpocketing (not 189), and you gain only 7 XP for that...
Killing everybody is much more rewarding (loot + XP + saved skill points), but that's quite evilish

The :cleankey: can be stolen with 190 pickpocketing (not 189), and you gain only 7 XP for that...

I still didn't got that fish because of this save/load hell, I'm too lazy for that ;-)
