Sigh no, your quote makes no sense apart a pathetic attempt to put your opinion up and mine down.
It's never help over sell a game, don't hide people the major weak aspects, you'll generate negativity on the game.
Also quote it as a Fallout 3 is a high risk, this game doesn't compare well to Fallout 1 on many points.
There's good aspects I agree, now the fake elements should be fixed and are quite like bugs that are fake character building features.
No, my opinion represents only me, just like yours. But from your post you seemed to think otherwise. Now stop that Steam-toxicity and self-entitlement and better say something objective that developers might take note. They are obviously listening to the feedback.
It's nothing toxic, I don't misguide dev into very wrong desing.
It's plain bad to design pointless character building elements, some traits and some skills. It's really feeling like unfinished game.
Dev need improve a lot their skills on combats design.
For players it's very far to Fallout 1 quality, don't create disapointment by misguiding. But I agree the two other are more different than is Atom.
It has problems and crashes, bugs, bad design, bad stuff but it's still worth it and it's hard. The only reason people don't like it it's because it's hard and very memorable.
Tell me the name of npc in other games? I will remember quests and npc in this game for a long time
^ this is what some of the dialogue feels like in ATOM.
Fake elements? Fake character builduing? Are we playing the same game? F1 had a large budget and is a great game, but graphics and engine are horribly dated.
Atom has more freedom, bigger content overrall and looks better.
I loved Underrail and appreciated ATOM. Both should be played but Underrail would be my pick.
1 bug in 35 hours, wasn't even gamebreaking.
Idk what you're on about. One of the thing Atom has going on for it is the very little amount of bugs for an open world rpg.

Though it's true that you have a lot of freedom in Atom, in some cases, like when building your characters, it's an illusion. I restarted the game twice because of seemingly good choices which turned out to be pointless.
There are currently many useless things in the game ,like most perks, dodge and health regen, and large differences in usefulness between skills and attributes.
The believe the devs have taken notice and said they are working on re balancing. I believe there is a great game hidden somewhere in Atom, but it's gonna take some polishing.
Leader is absurd.
Close Range seems very doubtful.
That's the fake traits and skills I mention but for one it's even very big it's martial, it's definitely like fake or unfinished.
Underrail just has so many different builds and each build you have to play in a unique fashion as almost no 2 builds play exactly the same. And Underrail does have PSI power a pseudo futuristic punkesque magic. So it certainly has 1990's cRPG nostalgia of its own.
Of the 2 I would go Underrail over W2DC every day. W2DC is prettier I mean its like a AAAA title while Underrail is 1 guy shop. Underrail has elaborate crafting system as well. Found the stories and puzzles well done.
W2DC didn't feel like a wasteland sequel felt like a post apocalyptic IceWind Dale. It is really a dessert "dungeon crawler". Their's missions and quests but it is mostly about combat. As their are no pacifist builds. I just think if you really want combat then there are better turn based games.
Underrail doesn't really have a pacifist play through but it does have a minimal combat type of play through and one that is high in stealth and trapping. Where in essence you don't actually fire a weapon.
Atom I am unsure of. Its on my wishlist and I am following. Reading everything about it. And watching as many play throughs as possible.
My biggest concern with Atom is it looks like a Fallout 1/2 clone. And if it was 20 years ago then it would probably be great with that idea. Besides being in a modern engine I can't tell if Atom actually does anything to improve post apocalyptic RPG games. It does exactly what Fallouts did. And even falls into the same traps the original games did by following so closely. 20+ years you would figure it would improve upon the original design/layout or do something really unique or fresh. Luckily Atom is only $15.
I would even recommend getting Underrail before the DLC. As you want some kind of familirity with the game and its universe before that happens. Many play throughs can be 100+ hours easily. So its good to get some practice in before the DLC comes out. Probably in another 3 or so months.
Wasteland 2 is worse in terms of combat but has better story and immersion.
Atom has even more simplistic combat system but way great immersion and story.
Out of all 3 i prefer Atom. Underail is a total miss for me though but it definetely has and deserves its audience.
