[Dead City - Travel back] No cash, no fuel

How do I get back to the lands ? I'm way behind the 15k asked by the fisherman. And 30L of fuel... It's too much ? Any help ?

But the fisherman asks for 1500, not 15K! You need 30 l of fuel only if you kill everyone which we do not recommend. Just go farm some money by doing quests or selling loot, and it's gonna be A-Okay! :)

I'm in the same situation. I've done all the quests I can find, got all the cash off every NPC I can trade with (they had about $500 on them all combined) and I'm stuck on dead island. I'm not starting the game again so gg I guess

What quests?? What vendors?? Wtf are you on about??? There are hardly any quests and they don't give money and all the vendors have almost no money on them. I've done every quest and traded with everyone. The looters you fight on the map drop no money. I rested for 10 days and their inventories did not change on traders.

It's not a-ok and the fact is I'm stuck without resorting to cheating which I don't want to do. I've now wasted 30hours on this game to hit a stupid dead end and can't get a straight answer from anyone. Going to leave a not recommended review, so disappointed that the game decides to screw me over like this

No reason to get so nervous, friend! It seems like you encountered a bug. We will look into merchant restocking in Dead City ASAP, and upload a fix if there really is this problem!
