Character build, stats and skills explained. Good for new players or just us commenting on broken builds:)
I have searched youtube and the game is not covered very good in english so i think a lot of people are starting their games in a way that will make the game longer or get them stuck

If you have any questions just ask here, i am sure me or other people will help

As side notes, this is not the best strategy, some things i explain are not advice because people have to chose their own strategy. The perks you chose after leveling up are sometimes more important than your skills

This is my build for expert difficulty since you can make level 6-7 without ever fighting in real combat and you get enough companions to nulify your low hp. So take these things into consideration when creating your character.

i have one of those derpy builds with max 10 on some stats and perks that increase stats. the thing that makes this work is that you can make level 5-6 without fighting at all so you can skip combat until you are ready for it. The devs actually make fun of my build because i talked to a character that said he hates people like me:)

Other important tips:
Speechcraft is # 1 skill, without it the game is very punishing.

Strenght can replace speech to a certain degree and can help in other situations, at least 6 Str because you need Str to better use the guns(even tough it's also tied to skill and you can use all weapons that need 6 str with 5 str) And you need a lot of carry capacity for looting.

Dexterity = Action points, with 10 action points you can almost run from all combat random encounters without a scratch so it's important.
Having 10 AP also let's you shot rifles and strong weapons 2 times....while your companions can only shot once...it also lets you shot and then stab someone if they are in melee.

Endurance plays a bigger part in this game because you will be ambushed a lot and forced to take damage, i would recommand 5+ here since in most fights you can't avoid damage but having 4 END and leveling up a lot also helps:)

Other non esential stuff:
Only craft when you have a high chance...so crafting is a skill you either max to 100+ or nothing at all becase a failed crafting means you lose all the materials. Sometimes it's better to sell the items and buy a working gun:) But the homemade grenades are still very good and have a knockdown chance, craft a few or have grenades at all time

Technology is not used in the early and mid game
You need to pick a gun skill, melee builds are not viable on harder difficulties and you will waste a lot of resources and time to heal with that.
Bartering is cazy good because it save hours of farming and it only influences the prices you can buy, it also gives good experience because you can trigger the barter check a lot

Gambling can make you rich veeeery fast because the traders have a limited supply of cash. Also used in skill check sometimes.

Melee, never focus on melee builds
Survival....is usefull but you can run out of combat in the early game so it's good if you wear a survival hat and maybe throw some points into it so you don't get ambushed too much.

Inspect all good random encounters to buy what you need and explore the caves/bunkers for loot. Remember to buy the ammo you need from them. The caravans with trucks will also give you a lift

Attention IMO is way better to have than endurance since there aren't too many items to increase ATT in the first place and EN can be easily boosted with onions/condensed milk/meldonium before every major battle - these easily give you +8 EN - and I like having guaranteed hit chance, even when aiming for the eyes.
