Report a translation problem
If you don't have the 3 stats which are suggested in the dialog you're quite doomed now. I'm also at the point to just edit my save file and test if it would be even possible to make these dialog checks.
The problem is only a few people are already there because the game was fully released some days ago.
Since that fight is basically end game battle and I was at Level 17 at 130+ HP, that guy with LMG basically just full burst me to death.
what are the 3 stats? i'm fairly early in the game, just running around the map exploring/getting XP.
i could "cheat" by building up those 3 stats if i knew what they were, lol.
and yes u cant do nothing about this fight , a Turn base gunplay without a cover mechanic is a terrible decision .
what the dev expected ?just to stand in place and take bullets from 7 guys ?
- talk your way out with high enough stats like 10 luck, str, personality
- [missing] use environment to somehow dispose of them or get around them like turrets
- [missing] use landmines to clear them out (timed explosive are just crappy to use and grenades don't make nearly enough damage)
- [missing] inform the ATOM soldiers above to kill them or lure them out to the ATOM soldiers (like the attack on the mutant city)
- attack them but with the current equipment its just impossible (7 dmg treshhold + 40% reduction on 45hp against guys where most of them can burst you with easily 100-200dmg in the first round). This kind of choice would only be possible in Fallout 1,2 where the power armor soaked easily 60% dmg with a 18 pts treshhold + perks which increased dmg reduction further
The most annoying is that the stupid ATOM dudes just chill above and all the other fights and enemies so far were just super easy compared to this one. Even the 2 Mycelium crews in the other bunkers were not really hard for me. But that. I couldnt win against 3 of them. No way against 7.
a *&$#@ end-game? Did you use some of that pre-war vodka when u designed
this? oh well, happy Christmas anyway, but i hope u have this fixed by the time i get there cause i don"t really want to use the KillAll command to get through this.
I somehow made it through it with a char with 119 hp/ballistic vest/ VER Rifle after about 15 reloads and nade spamming them, while i lost my endgame geared, automatic rifle wielding companions every----single---time!!!
As a old school RPG Player from the early 90's, i really do love a challenge, but a endgame fight where you basically can die in 1-2 rounds, if you don't crowd control the whole bunch with a lot of luck is totally unbalanced.
If you could intimidate some of their rookies away with that Strenght 10 check, lets say 3 guys, it would be doable and still be a very hard fight.
The game was great up to this point and i really enjoyed finishing it, but this fight made me kinda sick.
Well, Killeon, that sounds pretty creatively thought out, so maybe it CAN be done, lol??
I'm still pretty early on--don't even have any burst weapons/armor yet, but this is food for thought as I progress through the game.
Maybe with the better management of followers out of combat...I can't order them to engage without me.
the fact is that one guy have LMG with 100 bullets in ready to burst you and u cant cover or dodge any bullet make the this fight unbeatable.
