what tutorial?
0. Run it
1. Press UnZip in AtomSL.exe
2. Look for file player.dat in folder with name of your save file in C:\Users\ "Your user name" \AppData\LocalLow\AtomTeam\Atom
3. Open player.dat with Notepad
4. Edit everuthing you like, after that save the file
5. Press Zip in AtomSL.exe and select the folder name with your edited player.dat
6. Load the game
That program made my anti virus AND windows defender light up like a christmas tree. I am very sceptical of running it.
1. go to *:\Users\***\AppData\LocalLow\AtomTeam\Atom\
2. unzip save file you need to edit
3. open unpacked file with notepad++, search stat you need (like "luck" - for luck, "money" for money, "freeskillpoints" for free skill points, etc)
4. edit your stats
5. save file
6. open same packed savegame with 7Zip editor
7. replace packed save file with yours edited save file
8. delete unpacked save file
- WARNING: you can't change numbers like this - 12 instead 5, maximum = 9, 124 instead 87, maximum = 99 etc
- In save game there is some characters and you should find you main character (compare all main stats with your character and in edited save game file)
- Save game file only keeps additional numbers for skills, wich you added, not complete ones. If you didn't add any numbers to skill in save game it will be = 0, even in game that skill have 30 started points.
If a NPC teach you some skill or you read some books, will it still be 0? Or this counts as you youself added some points to a skill?
Thanks!
1. Remove data file from .as archive then put it back. Save works.
2. Remove data file, edit strength stat, then put it back into .as. Save doesn't work.
I concluded developers implemented anti-editing measures for save file since beta. What a pointless thing to do in a single player game.
.as is a type of archive. 7zip can open them. There might be other utilities that can do it.
Truly pointless. I managed to get out of that tough spot by exploiting save/load so, I managed to run away from that fight, but it took me the better part of an hour doing it. Well, problem solved I suppose.
~/.config/unity3d/AtomTeam/Atom/
Hats down for the dude that wrote it and his script !
