Peregon Attacks (Spoilers)

So I finished the quest from the post-man outside the theater in Krasnoznamenny, and happened to speak to Nikolai Siplovsky the head of the guards in Peregon. You end up confronting him after finding his name being on a list at the bbq (to recieve the videos I think?) , and then if you call him out on it instead of taking a bribe, the whole town becomes hostile. As much fun as it was killing everyone there, I didn't think it would be good for any other quest progress to wipe out the entire town. What are the long term consequences for killing everyone? Did any of you just keep playing after killing everyone?

yeah that's a misshap, although if you kill him quietly the guard at his door will let you go away
things are just like you said with the head of the merchants....
hmmmm i use the traders to regularry pickpocket them and to get my miracle wonder dog in fights in the arena so since the new update is far far away you might restart from a previous save...unless you're like me and go on a present save-load-save ratio :)))

can you load from you entering the town, since that usually fixes it???

I made sure I had a backup save before going on my rampage for fun. In the end I decided to not to confront him at all, that way my character doesn't have to make any moral decisions about it.... yet.

yes if you take a look quite a few major figures in peregon are involved so you'll have to be a skilled killer to purge the town and get out of there alive...it also depends on the questlines, how the devs plan to give us alternatives depending on our choices

It appears you just have blackmail as your main consequence options after finding the list.

The only time you have a chance to quietly assassinate the heads of the two factions is during the quest to bring peace and put Fyodor Maximovich as leader. The option to silently kill the leaders is during that quest and doesn't come up again. I'm not even sure what skill checks are involved to silently kill them. Dex and Unarmed?

So completing the Roasted Meat quest line before doing the Political quest would allow you to play out a violent consequence, for the two leaders at least, and not aggro everyone, even though its not really meant to go like that and Fyodor might not be happy.

Of course I did the political one first...I won't be able to tell if there are more options until my next playthrough. I'll update if I find anything else.

i'm about to finish the game but i can't talk to any of the two Peregon leaders. Both their guards stop me from entering their bosses' rooms :O

The old man you need to talk to is in a little room in the center of the boat, opposite some vendor stalls.

Well this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I went for this quest with the ship dude and the guard in Peregon. I killed the one on the ship silently without any issues. The second one beat me in Unarmed when I used dex and I had to fight all the station. Since when it happens the quest goes to drain, I had 2 options. Either to ignore the quest, or to kill all Peregon. Literally all. If you go with the attack everyone turns hostile even the old dude that gave you the quest. So without thinking I just killed every single person in Peregon :)

Any of you tried pickpocketing the guard boss in peregon and leave him a timed bomb thats activated? That might be a solution to kill him without killing the city, but I didnt try it.

Ok , i am trying to finish this quest by managing to kill both leaders silently.The guard one is easy cause u just use dexterity on him and kill him with a knife or bare hands. The ship one is tough. Both leaders dont smoke so u can't kill them with ciggy's. And i tested planting bombs with pickpocket (succesfully) but as soon as they explode, everyone attack you. So that's not an option. I am wondering if overdosing someone will work on this game. I remember on fallout 2 you could overdose ppl with super stimpaks but i dont think you can do that here and i cant find any info about it either.

IIRC Both can be killed silently if you're high enough in martial arts.

I remember the ship one is harder since you need to pass his bodyguard. The guard force is apparently easier since his subordinates actually hate him too.

Another alternative is to try mushrooms. I really haven't tried that.
