- Firstly spawn thematic are relatively localized and spawn is duration based not distance based. It means that to trigger thematic spawns it's much easier with walk than with car.
- Around End of Line, more slavers and bandits, some big spiders, some Doom cult
- North of Peregon more Doom Cult, some bandits
- Along path from Red Fighter to KRZ a bit north to road, relatively balanced, some slavers, some bandits, some Doom Cult, some caravans.
- Close to tunnel exit at north of Wounded Tourist Tunnel, bandits alas they seem be a weaker spawn (1.1+ quote)
- Along south border of the map and east of river, more bandits (1.1+quote)
In case you tend avoid Doom Cult encounters because of grenades and timed dynamites, know the game provide many details to manage it better, and it seems there's no more Doom Cult groups more specialized in grenades.
If you are trying to get better stuff from drops in mainland, nothing match Slavers. The price is the danger level from random generation variations. But it's among the most fun combats if you don't bother reload a few time. For me the best are Doom Cult, alas it's hardly for drops.
