TT pistol vs Percussion Revolver +

Need advice here. I'm going for pistol build here, for 9 mm getting Stechkin but still not sure what to pick for .30
Got Fast Hand for -1 AP for pistols also getting Gun Jesus for that +20% damage on Crafted Weapons.

I'd advice you to take the TT.
It does slightly less damage but has a better magasine, longer range(13 vs 8) and best of all, it NEVER jams!

if they are going for the 20% crafting bonus, they don't have to worry about jams.

it's mostly about the clip size.

with the two guns are about equivalent in overall damage output after a few turns IMO, since while the crafted has a smaller clip, the increased damage will compensate over time for the more frequent need to reload.

so, flip a coin. both are common, so you can spend a few combats deciding which one "feels" the best to you.

note that there is at least one unique TT pistol as well (Shishank's), and unique versions are something to consider when trying to compare crafted weapons to non crafted.

With Gun Jesus the Percussion Revolver + should do more damages, the TT pistol with higher Ap cost and lower damages not worth it despite the higher range.

For burst with .30 the PPS43 is better, longer burst range, more bullets per burst, bigger magazine, but shield in back. The M-712 is a fair option for .30 burst and compatible with shield.

Thanks for the weapon table, I never knew that there was a sabre out there, in 120+ hours I never seen one.

In over 700 hours, I've never seen one either.

I hacked one in to my game. it's actually better than the chainsaw.

about 15% less damage, but 50% faster ap! 15% armor pen, and 5% crit.

I gave it to my melee version of alexander, and he just smashed everything with it. simply the best melee weapon in the game, no question. looks like a cross between a samurai sword and an old cavalry saber.

I'm currently grinding the "woodpecker" fight to see if it will show up there, but no, I have not seen it for sale anywhere, nor has anything dropped one so far. still, if you wanna go samurai... highly recommend just consoling it into your game once you reach some arbitrary level where it seems fair. maybe level 12-15. or substitute it in for lenin's wrath when you get that.

It will usually kill any common enemy (like your average bandit) in one hit, with a good melee build wielding it. takes a couple hits for heavy armored enemies, or big enemies with over 105hp.

good sound and swing animation for it too.

someone should ask the devs where this thing is supposed to drop, because they obviously have all the sounds and proper animations to go with it. it's def a finished and polished weapon.

... meh. turns out the weapons and armor in the woodpecker fight are scripted. one last try with the strength option...

ugh, that's the worst of all the options! you're only left with 3 bad guys to shoot at, and none of them have anything good.

oh well. my only other guess is that it might randomly show up in late game slaver fights, but if so, it's ultra rare.
