No Keyboard/Mouse Support?

The game launches with an Xbox control scheme, and there is no way to change it to mouse and keyboard in the options menu. Am I missing something? I don't have a controller installed on this PC, so it shouldn't auto-detect anything.

Turn off your controller before starting the game. That should activate mouse/keyboard controls

Keyboard and mouse working fine for me. The only problem I could think about is if a controller was plugged in, as mentioned above. Did you try pressing any buttons? Probably yes, I know. But it's just that sometimes the game assumes you are using a controller but changes to keyboard when you press any button.

Still haven't found a way to turn off the gamepad controls, and I do NOT have a gamepad installed on this computer. Any suggestions? Does the developer still scan the forums? Can't play the game, as I don't own an Xbox controller.

Do you have any software running like controller companion or similar? A software like that could make the game believe you are using a controller.

An option to force keyboard/mouse would be very handy, even if it were just a command line option to start the game with.

I have vJoy installed and disabling & unplugging everything just to be able to use the keyboard and mouse is a bit tedious.

I have the same issue. The Game starts with Xbox controller sceme. I have an Xbox 360 controller on my computer but the battery is empty and i have no spare one. I have disconnected the controller, uninstalles the programm to run the controller, restarted my computer and reinstalled the game. Nothing helped. I can start the game and see the first lines of dialoge but the the game tells me "get up" with the left stick nothing happens. No mouse or keyboardkey does a thing. I have to shut the game down with the taskmanager.

I will buy a battery tomorow and try it again with the controller.

I found disabling vJoy and unplugging my Sidewinder was enough, but an option to force keyboard/mouse would still be very nice IMO.

Having exactly the same problem. Tried disabling controllers, still not working. The game is completely unplayable to me right now.

Ok I can play the Game now with my Xbox Controller. It would really be nice if we had the choice to select our input method.

Same problem here. I do not have a controller, I've never had any controller, I don't want any controller. Still the game assumes I use a controller. Please help.

Similar issure here. I loaded the game up and it won't respond to keyboard input. I had no controllers of any kind plugged in.

no controller ever... no keyboard/mouse response... time for the developers to step up and until they do, Steam must put a warning on the store page.

I have a problem when my Warthog HOTAS is plugged in. Nothing works then in TSB. No mouse, no contoller. I have to play it on another machine or remove the HOTAS.

Same problem,
even with all controllers unplugged before starting the application I am unable to move with kb/m.
Also the mapping when using a ps4 controller is messed up.
