Strategy For The Boss 'Lust'
Hello everyone,

I cannot for the life of me seem to figure out a competent battle strategy for the boss 'Lust' in the temple of the dream walkers. It is the second boss of the temple. If anyone has fought it yet and defeated it could you please tell me at least how to stop it from fulling healing itself? You can put it in stasis but then that prevents you from also doing any damage to it.

Cheers,

Street

Hey Street,

It has been a while since I played, but I recall that this boss was one of the unorthodox ones in which brute force could hardly win. I don't remember the details though I did win this one after once or twice. Therefore you'll just have to try some non-standard tactics with the arts of your characters. For example, you would have to think about what might counter Lust in a real setting--certainly not a blade.

Here is a potentially useful quote from the guide's Loremaster in the News section of "What is Lotia?":

"Learn well, save frequently.

The combat system is very carefully worked out. The actions of the foursome in combat party receive passive support from the two others. For example, if the tank is not involved, he still gives everyone extra hit points, provided the healer buffs them all up to his bonus allotment.

There are items thoughtfully provided the player that increase the encounter rate, diminish it, or, for those who want to explore and read in depth, negate it completely.

Almost every detail a player could want about their characters can be readily obtained at any moment. There is a wealth of data and statistics about how each one is doing. It is well worth examining what their strengths and vulnerabilities are, how certain equipment affects them, and it is vital that a player read the Combat arts section to determine just how their repertoire of arts actually perform against what foes."

I will re-read my abilities more in depth and see exactly what status' I can inflict that might compliment a competent battle strategy. I believe I am well over-prepared with my level (im nearly level 30 and i think thats pretty dang good for this area) so yeah I think you are right in finding tactics that might manifest more in a real life scenario in how things affect one another. All in all thank you for the reply I certainly appreciate it.
