Chaos dwarves had Sumerian looks to them and had some tusks and small horns. Ork slaves did fight for them but I can't remember what they actually accomplished.
A demigod or god for all purposes was on the receiving end of a headbutt from a POed ork.
Anyway it seems like the only way we are gonna have a snowballs change in hell in changing the history of the endtime like everyone wants, is if we somehow manged to get the white dwarf and every single slayer dwarf to join him in taking out the chaos dwarfs while we by some miracle get the normal greenskin clans to join forces in taking out the chaos orcs. which would have been a epic clash of the very Very VERY angry titans moment.
We have already change some of the endtime story by saving ubersreik which it says was suppose to fall so who knows.
I mean the dwarves are awesome. Without aid, or mobilizing themselves: the strongholds held steadfast against odds that would have crush other factions easily. Literally took overwhelming attacks from all sides to bring them down.
I don't think we "saved" Ubersreik. Town's in ruins and almost all of its population is dead. I guess that skaven-empty ruins are better than skaven-filled ruins, but they're still ruins.
-Mentioned in one sentence on page 69 of Glottkin. The Craterblades of Talabheim apparently ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up some K'daii and a Sorcerer Prophet awhile back earning them some street cred. As a result, we know they're at least still canon as having ever existed at all.
-The Chaos Dwarves breached the Great Bastion of Cathay and had been destroying it along with the Hung marauders and Skaven. They turn portions of it into a fortress that allows them to raid into Cathay without any resistance. They conquer most of the northern provinces before the dragon emperor starts pushing them back. The Fortress at the bastion is destroyed by Grimgor and the hobgoblins and the chaos held territories are taken over by orcs.
-Grimgor sacked the Dark Lands and most of the Chaos Dwarfs holdings, as revenge for his time as a slave under their cruel lash. He and the ogres free most of the slaves, topple the cities, and win over the loyalty of the dark land tribes. Grimgor, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and an army of Grimgor's trusted advisers cast down the statue of Hashut and raze Zhar-Naggrund to the ground, squatting the Chaos Dwarfs.
-Hashut finally meets his match when he faces both Gork and Mork at the same time. He is defeated before the final battle, stripping the sorcerers of their power.
-When Chaos destroys the world, it is mentioned that many champions of Chaos were uplifted to Daemonhood. This may include some Chaos Dwarfs, however, consider most of them have been wiped out by the greenskins.
They're as insane as you can get when in Chaos Wastes while still maintainin a working civilization. So, uhm, kinda insane, especially their sorcerers, but not on the level of Chaos daemons. As for strenght, they're roughly equal to dwarves. It could be argued that, since they rely more on magic than the Old World dorfs do, they're weaker, but then again some of them have very interesting and useful mutations which make them much more dangerous than your average dwarf.
Google "chaos dwarf abomination". Ugh.
