Is the versus mode gear dependant ?

havent play this game since i beat it in one sitting in 2018, i dont get scammed like other people for endlessly grinding for gear but im wonderng if they want u do that for pvp mode?

If you "Beat it in one sitting" and stopped playing, I can assure you that you will be deadweight in Vs even if the game gives you all weapons/talents from the start.

Finishing the campaign on recruit does beating the game equal not.


The grind for gear isnt endless. It used to be about 20 hours of progression, if I understand correctly it can be skipped altogether right now by just getting the best chests?

I didnt get an answer; which should have been a simple yes or no to the question in the title of the topic. Out of 2 replies that one would think is an "answer" , one is open to interpretation (so does not answer the question at all) , and the other one is from a troll/harasser so it's unreliable in nature. Im not going to waste my internet connection downloading a 60gb game just to find out a single thing that could have been answered here by ppl who constantly play this game .
