I helped a few groups playing like this and none of them could keep up with other fast moving careers. It's possible with others but you won't be able to make as many mistakes.
Personally, I did this challenge on the last Skulls Event.
There are plenty enough skulls so you don't have to chase after them but only pick those who are in your path and by 4 skulls you get 20% movement speed extra while the damage you take when the effect runs out (usually during the dialogue of Sofia) will give you the Crusade stacks from Zealot for even more movement speed.
Even with monster spawn I managed to complete the mission in time on the first try after many failed attempts before the event.
So either you try it again and hope for a better outcome, or you can put this challenge aside for now and wait for the next Skulls Event which gives you a significant advantage.
Characters:
Saltzspire
Fanatic-crusade; (easy to complete alone)
Bounty Hunter-Taunt Tolla.
Sienna
Battle Mage - dagger + fire from ashes + Volans acceleration; Pyromancer - dagger + military science + fiery fleet
Bardin.
Ranger - dual hammers + enemy cutter + don't yawn;
Avenger - dual hammers + impatience + you won't escape
Kruber
Hunter - spear with constantly charged attack + stilts
Grail Knight - Breton sword charged attack + virtue of the unwavering knight
Kerillian
Handmaiden - spear/shield attack spam + critical attack cooldown "special skills";
Shadow - Assassin-jumper/running in the forest + hungry wind + critical attack cooldown "special skills" (easy to get through alone)
We got through as a group on the third try in 11 minutes 20 seconds
fanatic + ranger + Grail Knight + shadow.
It's not worth suffering like that for the sake of the frame. It would be better to return the "bug" with the connection to the final event with barrels and get the frame without problems.
The guy in the video makes a speed potion, OP should make a conc potion since most probably he will need more jumps in some segments.
By the way, at the end of the video if someone is trying the same strat, you have to crouch or else you won't get in. I was stuck there myself when I reached the first time for like 5 minutes.
Fun fact:
When you don't do the last part and go to the end event, the gravity is still wrong and the barrels fly upwards, which makes it tricky to get them and impossible to throw them into the pit.
The 4 beacon ascent takes ages to destroy solo. A monster anywhere is a restart.
And the finale still sucks ass. You can't afford a single failed barrel.
Probably far more leeway as a group. Some day I might attempt one of those BW glitch videos, assuming they still work.
Nvm, I gave that BW glitch a go. Took me a bunch of failed attempts to get that teleport off the edge into the mirror dimension. Haven't a clue what he was doing in the video, but eventually made it work by walking at the very corner of the tile as I used flame dash and I fell down safely, then walked across and dropped through the ceiling onto the ground.
Took another attempt and changing to 40% cd reduction talent to get the dash into the roof above the window right. Thought I'd taken way too long by that point, but nope, was still in the time limit, so got it done.
