25gb update? c'mon...
Wtf is this. As someone who has 12mb/s download and slower patching/verifying speed its just endless...
What is this update even? can't find patch notes anywhere.

Probably nothing, just the game randomly downloading itself again (it has happened before). Also, I have the same download speed, 40 mins for 25GB is endless? :papyrus:

Sorry about that. Unfortunately the bug in our engine/building process that causes abnormal patch sizes creeped up on us again. We'll continue investigating to hopefully squash it before the next update.

they couldn't zip the THICC RAT under 30gb.
Also it happened with the flag addition too. IRRC i head a convincing explanation about the textures and codes needing to be reinstalled to work in tandem even when smaller additions are made.

Mind you, it's not a justification.

You are missing the point. A normal patch shouldnt be 25GB. I get if they added a new game mode, reworking any of the systems and HUGE changes.
