cmon do it Fatshark :D
Then they immediately took them away with the excuse that they "needed to make sure they were properly bug tested and stable"
or some such nonsense. And they havent come back or been talked about since.
If you know Fatshark you know that excuse is total BS because EVERYTHING is buggy and unstable when they launch it.
In reality they are probably looking for a way to monetize the skins.
Edit: Found one of the devs response. I hate to throw Aqshy under the bus because its not her fault Fatshark cant find a way to make this work. But its a statement from devs sooo......
This was in January of 2022. The response 2 weeks later is what I paraphrased above. Searching for it now.
Edit Edit: Found it.
I'd actually be more interested in new weapon models. I mean the actual models, too. I'm not satisfied with any of the halberd models, personally. Something slim and functional would look nice. A Dane axe skin for the halberd would be sweet, even. Also, why is that wooden mallet still not a usable skin? There was even the idea of having enemy weapon skins be usable. That would be kinda fun.
