stagger thp nerf
this talent has been reduced to basically nothing. Why? What was so wrong with it?

A slight reduction for shield bashes would have been fine, but max 2hp on max stagger strength? What was the thought process behind this?

What do you mean "what was wrong with it?" You could get a full bar of temp hp in 1 or 2 shield bashes (& sienna dagger H1). Meanwhile, every other temp HP talent would require dozens of kills or cleaves to get the same amount of temp hp.

It feels far more balanced now especially with the other THP talents being buffed

Ooooh, I was wondering why my attempts at using GKs shield smack didn't seem to be awarding as much THP as I'd expect.

Yes, stagger THP was by far the best. Like, it wasn't even a contest. You could scythe special on Sienna and gain half your health in one go. Making it less abusable but also giving it a small THP gain if you kill is far more balanced.

This change was waaaaaay too overkill. Nerfed it into the ground. This does not feel balanced at all.

Then you're getting hit too much.
If other careers can survive with the other THP talents, you can survive with a nerfed stagger talent that is still probably the best for generating THP.

I can play with the new one just fine, that's not the issue. It's just more fun to generate more THP than 2 per hit. Not everything has to be a slog, you know.

Lets just tone down all weapons so they deal 1 damage. If you can't play that way, just git gud.

Lower all health to 1, if you can't play that way, you just get hit too much.

Just give everyone the torch from the blightreaper map, you know, the stick with some fire on top. Don't need more than that, if you do then you're just playing wrong.

I feel like this is going to hurt my Warrior Priest flail stagger build.
It was deserved
I would vastly prefer having on-hit THP on my flail build for Warrior Priest.

I've played only a couple of runs so far with both (bretonian weapons) and honestly both feel underwhelming.

Shame. I'll try it again bit more but I liked playing shield gk precisely because it was such a tanky powerhouse
On another note, sister with s&d and carve talent is just busted (in a good way)
