Unfortunately, not everyone is wise enough. The discord has had quite a few people join and ask if it's crossplay, only to be disappointed that they or a friend wasted their time/money thinking it was. I blame the AI overview since that's the first thing people see.
First a reddit post, then "people also asks" (that range from correct answer, to unrelated games like helldiver, borderlands, etc), followed by more posts from reddit/steam/fatshark forums.
I could search for something to downvote, but there's nothing, the correct answer is there even if I would only open the first link to reddit and read the post/comments.
"Unfortunately, Vermintide 2 does not currently support cross-platform play. This means that players on different platforms, such as PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, cannot play together."
Strange, it seems like if you word it differently you get different results.
"vermintide 2 crossplay" = yes
"is vermintide 2 crossplay" = no
Although I have seen the Google AI suggest really wild things, like saying it's fine for women to drink and smoke while they're pregnant
So I suggest finding a non-ai source since there's a good chance the ai is wrong.
The Princess speaks the truth. Don't trust the generative programs designed by corporations folks, it's really not smart.
I'm actually sick of hearing "AI" at this point.
