PSA: Google's stupid AI incorrectly states that the game is crossplay (and we can fix it!)

If you type into Google: "vermintide 2 crossplay" or anything similar, it will show you an incorrect summary.

Yes, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 supports crossplay between Xbox One and PC. Crossplay allows players on different platforms to play together.

Explanation
Cross-play is a feature that allows players on different platforms to play together. For example, players on Xbox One and PC can play Warhammer: Vermintide 2 together.

Obviously, this is straight up misinformation. Some people are lazy and don't do further research, or they just trust the AI. This can lead to accidental purchases and disappointments. PC and console are functionally too different from each other, so crossplay isn't possible (yet).

I think we should do a huge favor for every new or old player that recommends the game to a friend on a different platform: Report the summary.

Here's how to do it:

1. Click "Show More"
2. Click the thumbs down
3. Click Report a problem
4. Select Not Factually Correct and include details. No need for anything fancy, I think just saying that the game is not crossplay would suffice.
5. Submit!

If Google corrects this, feel free to say that in this thread and I will edit the post accordingly.

Unfortunately, not everyone is wise enough. The discord has had quite a few people join and ask if it's crossplay, only to be disappointed that they or a friend wasted their time/money thinking it was. I blame the AI overview since that's the first thing people see.

^ Wish I could sympathize, but if you're too lazy to type "crossplay" in the discussion boards, then it's your fault; no one should waste their time training the AI bc some broccoli headed kids are stupid. There's one problem, if I type "vermintide 2 crossplay" in google I don't the same results.

First a reddit post, then "people also asks" (that range from correct answer, to unrelated games like helldiver, borderlands, etc), followed by more posts from reddit/steam/fatshark forums.

I could search for something to downvote, but there's nothing, the correct answer is there even if I would only open the first link to reddit and read the post/comments.

I asked Google Gemini if Vermintide 2 has crossplay and it said:

Strange, it seems like if you word it differently you get different results.
"vermintide 2 crossplay" = yes
"is vermintide 2 crossplay" = no

I think the AI got VT2 confused with Darktide probably, since Darktide does indeed have crossplay.

Although I have seen the Google AI suggest really wild things, like saying it's fine for women to drink and smoke while they're pregnant

So I suggest finding a non-ai source since there's a good chance the ai is wrong.

I tested some of these "AIs" and they get information wrong all the time. If people really trust them then we are doomed!
