How does "Your carrier skill" boons work on Outcast Engineer?
how do those boons that are activated with carier skill work on OE when his skill is this unique as you dont just activate it and wait for cooldown?

what I mean is these type of boons to be precise

Back in the day the old talents (which he can't get now) used to proc when you would use 1 full bar worth of ult charge (though it did not have to be continuously, and you could refill it in the meantime). Then they removed the old ult talents from him for some unknown reason.

I assume these work just like that too, but I didn't test it.

50% of the bar in one go.

u mean u have to use up 50% when u start shooting and then it activates?

that would mean that if u have 100% and you keep shooting till it all goes - it will have 2 boon activations?

As a sidenote. Cooldown reduction stuff does not work for the Gunner.

I'm just guessing here based on the wording of the boon, I would assume that the boon from the screenshot will add bleeding to all shots from the crankgun, whereas things that activates on ult (like giving other players a cooldown boost) would activate once you've spent the required amount of "ult-power".

Nah. Bleed is the same as lightning or burn on career skill. They all activate, when the career skill is used. As others already stated. You need to spent 50% of the bar to activate it. When it does activate, it will be an aoe hit around you.

Ah, I missed the "nearby" part.

what?

holy crap that sucks - I mean are you sure?

when I was playing one player had the cooldown reduction bubble on activating trial chest

and I noticed my carrier skill bar went down much slower then normal - which would suggest there is some effect on his carrier skill

they should at least make it work in that cooldown reduction boosts your carrier skill loading up when you crank it

It might depend on what talents you have.
Remember that without stacks of pressure, OE will never recharge his gun. If you're running the "pressure never drops unless firing" then you might get gigantic recharge boosts that drop off with each pressure charge.

I'm just theorycrafting here though, the only time recently I've played with OE with stuff like the cooldown reduction bubble, etc, was on the "No HUD" weekly, so I couldn't see it happening.
