Low health stagger pulse is awesome. Lightning on ult is fun and it triggers thp on stagger, press F and get back to full health.
Being able to actually use bomb boons more often is nuts
For WHC or GK or Necro it is instawin boon
Second best is anti disabler lightning.
3rd best is dupe
Exception being the one that buffs your power level for 45s after healing with a medkit a teammate. That thing is dogsh*t and should be either reworked or heavily buffed lasting for several minutes. Dupe after using your ulti is the opposite exception, that thing is always tier S having infinite value.
yep, the ''100% crits but 25%- chance for each weapon level'' it's like.. ok so i dont need to upgrade my weapon anymore XD
tbh a lot of these ''increase your power level'' are usually dogshesh, like i never feel any meaninful difference when i use them, and 9 times out of 10 they feel like a waste of coins
i would much rather get something like, health regen for u and teammate when someone helps/revives another
or instant health when u pick up ammo (that one is hella good on ranger, specially since it doesnt have cooldown)
or constant health regen when your health goes lower than 30% since it's not really AMAZING, but a nice help to not stay at very low health (as long as u dont get hit by that stormvermin doing the top heavy in the middle of the horde and deleting your entire existence and ancestors with it)
So you can upgrade to red your ranged weapon, increase your hero power and still have 100% crit on melee.
ooohhh nice
I personally think Unchained is a very risky pick for Chaos Wastes, simply because there's a lot more garbage the game can throw at you and you can overheat by simply taking damage. Opening a Trial Chest only to get four Ratling Gunners lighting your ass is not fun when you're also the class that dies from taking damage even if your HP is well above half.
As for the actual question though, there's a lotta BS you can exploit to your advantage:
-> Ranger's Parting Gift makes your next bomb after your career skill free (you don't even need to throw the bomb DURING the smokepot, either). Not only does this have insane bomb talent synergy, but this also lets you chuck Morgrim's bombs for free lmao.
-> If you can get anything that gives you guaranteed crits, Pyromancer's career skill with the 100% CD refund on a critical hit is diabolical.
-> Shade is already probably the best career for Chaos Wastes, and it isn't particularly close. Since Rampart exists, you kinda want someone that can delete a boss in melee, and while Grail Knight's pretty good at doing so, Shade is by far the best at it. 8 to 10 seconds of stealth can also be useful for completing objectives or getting a revive/rescue off.
Now, Shades can technically go into stealth whenever they want, as long as you parry an attack beforehand. This takes some degree of skill (although its not THAT hard), but if you get the boon that makes all Blocks count as Parries, you literally have permanent invisibility by just holding right-click and dodging after you block an attack.
-> Careers with fast-recharging career skills can make the best use out of the boons that trigger on career skill activation. Handmaiden and Sister of The Thorn come to mind; they have career skills that be used roughly every 15 seconds in-combat (Sister technically uses her skill twice in 30-ish seconds). That one boon that gives you a 50% chance of getting your current potion effect for free is a hilarious synergy with this; I had one SoTT just spamming Morgrim's bombs from her Endless Bomb pot via spamming her skill.
And may boon that gives you crits after invis.
Everything else gives you crits for weapons, not for ults.
Mostly useless boons:
Atharti's Malice Damaging enemies with damage over time effects grants 0.25 health.
Ualapt's Cunning Picking up ammunition grants 15 health.
Ulric's Pack Gain 5% bonus to Power. This is multiplied by the number of allies with the Boon.
Myrmidia's Justice You gain a stack of Justice each time you Block an Attack. Once you have 3 stacks, your next Attack is automatically a Critical Hit and all stacks are lost.
Morai-Heg's Doom For 2 seconds after leaving invisibility, all Attacks are automatically Critical Hits.
Ptra's Protection Every 5 seconds, a Perfect Parry spawns an Orb that reduces Damage taken by 50% for 10 seconds.
Myrmidia's Wildfire An enemy that dies while Burning inflicts a Burning to nearby enemies, causing Damage over time.
Hekarti's Prophetic Bolt Your Career Skill also spawns a projectile that seeks out enemies.
Useless boons:
Ranald's Surprise Powder Barrel's you ignite deal 300 % increased damage
Ranald's Explosive Surprise When you trigger a barrel explosion, the barrel spawns smaller barrels. These explode after a short time.
Drakira's Malice Taking damage deals damage to nearby enemies.
Atharti's Vigour Healing an ally with a health pack grants both of you 20% Power for 40 seconds.
Eldrazor's Revenge When your Block is broken you gain 15% Attack Speed for 15 seconds.
Harrying Boon of Anath Raema's Deflection Parries spawn four projectiles that seek out enemies.
Boons that can and often will ruin your hero:
Khaine's Fury While above 50 % health, you gain 25 % more melee power but deal 3 damage to yourself every swing.
Gork's (or possibly Mork's) Might Pushing an enemy makes you do a short charge forward.
The Lady of the Lake's Vigil When you are above 75 % Health you take of the damage inflicted on nearby allies instead of them.
Khaine's Might Gain 25% Power, but 50% Curse.
And pls don't start this "if you has this hero and this talent and those boons and this potion... "
