For sure! I would love a journal entry from Lohner teasing the release, and then a dialogue from him in the release trailer about why they have to go back.
One other fun thought, I wonder how difficult it would be to place a unique healing item on the dwarf maps, like a rune of valaya, that provides a lot of temporary health when used, or a buff that absorbs the next damage source against you, like gromril armor, and makes you invulnerable for a couple seconds when it procs. Also perhaps Mogrim's Bomb, (from the chaos wastes), could be available, since it is specifically a dwarven bomb.
