What are players playing on Vermintide 2?

It's often difficult to find a complete team. Are most players on the "modded" version of the game? I'm guessing they are using workshop content. Perhaps its one of the dlc's? Clue me in.

No, most players are not playing modded. That's only a very small subset of players. It's essentially impossible to play a modded game without a premade team or solo. Even IF more people played it, you have to pre-arrange mods.

Otherwise it's just low player counts spread over 5 difficulties and 2 game modes even for those who aren't picky about the map, and the game is basically unplayable at any geographical distance. Play during your countries peak hours (generally about 5pm to midnight)

On the weekend we go spicy no deathwish with btmp regularly get people up to 8 to 12 in a map. Under 6 we go Uber 5 mod.

I'm playing legend and have usually have to wait less than 1 minute to get a full team.

Full lobbies don't show up there, also I just opened up browser and counted 3 recruit and 7 legend.

I usually play legend or cata, depends on whether I like the map and what's available to play in that lobby.

Delusional fanboys have been screaming for too long "the game is not dead because I can find groups fine!" and FS seem to have been stupid enough to listen to them.

All I can say is good luck getting insurance after the car crash.

Sadly the game is dead for random matchmaking, especially if you want to play a popular career/hero. PvP might revitalize it, but probably not for long. Wish there would be another PvE expansion.

Lol I love this game and I do seem to find groups almost EVERY time I play(Legend CW), which I do find interesting given how little players there are total. Guys, you need FOUR people. That is not a lot, and because it doesn't require 50 people like the dead fps games, it'll be fine. I play every class/hero though and not everyone has that flexibility. I bought this game for $2.

So this goes off of whatever your definition of "dead game" is. To me, a dead game is one that is unplayable because there are no players on at all. This makes the game not dead to me, and I will stop playing when I can't find lobbies. (NA West)

to me the definition of a dead game is when the playerbase is so small you always come across the same people (this is especially the case in cata) and ofc games like concord
