Pyromancer works best with high crit modifier weapons. Dagger is pretty good, but if you have the necro dlc the scythe is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing on her.
Unchained - most people run the flail on her. I run the flail on her. I don't have enough experience to tell you whats the best for her. The scythe will probably work too, but its also not as efficient as on pyro because of lower attack speed and lower crit chance.
Necro can use anything. She is very versatile. Even the crowbill has a use on her, and outside of necro its probably the worst melee in the game. Actually with the 100% crit chance based on weapon rarity boon in chaos wastes the crowbill is brutally effective on her.
For BW you want either dagger or fire sword, dagger for safety and fire sword for THP farm.
For actual melee, like unchained/pyro, imo her best weapon is flail. I don't have necro so never tried scythe.
It has very good damage against armored enemies and with the heavy attacks it's almost like a Great Hammer, the special attack staggers like a shield bash and it also generates as much as thp.
So I can recommend the Reaper for those careers.
(I don't know if this post is only about Sienna's melee weapons)
But all Siennas weapons are meh. There are no something really cool and fun.
Strong anti armor damage with a really easy heavy-block-heavy combo, and since the first heavy is an overhead, it's easy to score headshots as well. First heavy also inflicts burning DoT and is shield breaking.
Great push attack into heavy combo for strong stagger temp HP generation.
There isn't really any situation the Mace can't deal with.
Jack of all trades, really.
Which is funny because the Mace in Vermintide 1 suuuccckkkedd.
Light 1, Light 2 block cancel for anti-single target, Heavy 1 vs Super Armor, and push attack into heavy chain into horde clear until you build up stamina and do a push attack into light 3 and 4 repeat until you need to enter heavy chain for stamina. Sienna's mace loses out (compared to other weapons) insanely safe temp hp generation, faster attacks, high finesse modifiers. With Sienna's mace's revamp + better moveset updates rolled around it's just pre-nerf crowbill but better in every way imo. Forcing myself off Mace to use scythe or other options feels painful on UC. Mace just works the best in conjunction with conjuration in terms of bashing holes into armor then going back to CC staffing. It feels like Sienna's best boss killing melee paired with the best super armor killer that isn't Crowbill. The plethora of buffs mace has received over time pales to its older self. Mace, Scythe, or Dagger are what you run on Sienna if you want peak potency that isn't linked to a build's gimmick.
It's not updated for 5.5 or whatever, but it should still be mostly true.

Personally my favourite is battle wizard with fire sword, because you burn, stagger and build Temp HP so easily with it. With a beam staff or something as well, and you are prepared to melt most problems.
I'm just big fan of burning everything.
But as BW you want abuse dot damage
As Pyro you want to abuse high crit multiplier weapons
As Necro you want buse infinite cleave, crits or dot explosions.
For UC is good, but Scyfe is stupidly strong. You can stagger Special atack is a 360 fire sword atack, stagger CW from overheads and give you like 50 THP in one hit
Mace is good, but its just good weapon with no superfeature.
Like Bardin 1h hammer or Kruber 1h mace. They are great weapons, but you rarely see them.
Becouse mace h1 is the slower version of 1h hammer h1.
Mace l3 and l4 is the slower version of 1h hammer l1 and l2.
Mace push atack is a slower version of 1h hammer push atack
They all have same damage, cleave, stagger.
Hevy 2 and 3 are really great. BUT they struggle against mixed hordes. Unlike something like 2h hammer your heavy strike will stuck in the first stromvermin
