Are there any trick weapons in the WHF world?
I know it'd be entirely plausible to see a gun axe. Victor was my favorite starter cuz he reminded me a lot of Bloodborne Hunters, thats why I typically run flense on him and rapier.

what are trick weapons ?

gun axes are canon because they are in total warhammer 3 (kislev units use them)

Think Bloodborne, sort of simple mechanical weapons that transform states or have special dual functions. Theres a calender knife I think somewhere in the Artwork section (its an iron cleaver that also has a pistol attached, with a calender etched into the blade).

Well, rapier on Victor with special attack (gunshot)
there is a few weapons with special attacks (most rescent ones), but nothing similar to this

Yes, now picture the reiterpallasche replacing that. Maybe someone could make a modded weapon skin for rapier and pistol in the future, that'd be dope as hell. It'd make me consider jumping into modded for that alone.

Trick weapons come from Bloodborne. For example there's a starting weapon that is a cane that transforms into a whip and vice versa.

A lot of the more mundane serrated types from this list, I could see working in WHF:

Imagine Zealot Vic running around with a breaking wheel, lmao.

Theres also honestly a lot of examples in other games and irl, like the one I listed above.

Ngl, Logarius' Wheel is my favorite bloodborne weapon and it would be funny as hell to see Zealot running around with it lmao.

I looked into some of it's history in our own world and I'm still unclear if executioners actually wielded it as depicted. I know they lie you down on them and drop rocks on you, but the Berserk anime implied someone, somewhere, slung a wheel over their shoulder and beat peasants to death with it.

In the "real" game (tabletop) the wicked dawi also use a form of gun axe. Probably also implemented later in the pc game as well.

The technically correct term is not trick but a hybrid weapon which is already in the game (halberd).

i think he means weapons that can transform at will, between states, and they are aparantly classified as trick weapons in bloodborne.
I mean theres a Streltsi axe.

But thats not really transforming from one thing to another as much is it is the idea of "what if axe BUT ALSO gun?"

Or the Fire Glaive. Which is also the above idea.

Isnt there a Slayer weapon like the Chain-Axe where its just dual axes but attacked to chains so they can throw them?
Would that count?
And I guess there would be bayonetts on guns, so technically a spear but with a gun on it

otherwise no idea

What weapons here have special action:

Victor
* Rapier - gun shot, big damage, but very short fall-off dist, unlimited ammo, counts as ranged hit, approx 2 sec cooldown. Also available while blocking - very useful against berserks
* Hook - grapple action, has very high stagger and cleave power and very big (for melee) range
* Great hammer - fist punch, high stagger
* Hammer and book - heavy attack pre-charge (kinda dumb one, since HA charge is fast enough)
* Brace of pistols - just funny pistol rotate on the finger
* Griffon-foot - not special, but RMB click casues a high stagger melee hit

Kruber
* Spear and shield - special while blocking causes fast poke without losing your block state (very useful against berserks)
* Bretonian longsword - not special, but charging HA puts you to the counterattack state: you able to block any incoming hit (stamina still depletes!) and instantly auto counterattack with high damage
* Blinderbuss - not special, but RMB click casues a high stagger melee hit

Bardin
* Shotgun - not special, but RMB click casues a high stagger melee hit

Kerillian
* Javelin - double action ranged slot wepon: RMB to aim and throw, LMB for melee pokes
* All ranged on Waystalker - special action while aiming causes zoom
* Deepwood staff - special action while aiming causes zoom

Sienna
* Reaper - special action causes mid-low damage melee aoe knockback, but it doesn't cause any stagger state (it's strange I know, but this is FS)
* Soulstealer staff - special action while aiming causes zoom

And I think, this is it.

No, warhammer fantasy was never built with weapon complexity like that in mind. I'm even having a hard time thinking of something like a trick weapon in 40k.
