For example, while many will tell you Witch Hunter Captain is the strongest of Saltz's classes
This is not true at all in legend, Zealot is stronger there by a long shot
Or in very difficult deeds and high end weaves Zealot is stronger because he can just be immortal (if played right) or even in some modded difficulties
So just a general "who is best" isnt really possible, another thing is that player preference plays a huge role too
For example, many swear that Block Cost Reduction is the best property, while for me I have literally no use for that and stamina is way better for me (dont really have a class example but I think you can imagine the same case happening for classes)
And then there is also that some classes simply perform better if you are more skilled, for example, anyone can pick up BW with the flamesword and spam heavies and do a great job, but not everyone can just play Slayer with his restriction of two melee's (well 1 ranged with a DLC)
Though in general, Battle Wizard is oen that doesnt change nomatter what the mode and is strong/strongest Sienna, like S tier (even in high-end weaves, not sure for modded but I think she is used to just kite with Lingering)
Just keep that all in mind if anyone posts a tier list and the tier list doesnt specify for what mode it is
Ooooh, you mean Ranger Veteran.
The tiers never changed that much, just every now and then someone new comes along and tries to present an argument to say otherwise. But, take Salty boi for example, they pretty much always ignore bonus team effects and thus wrongly think that Zealot is better than WHC, despite WHC actually adding more DPS to the party than the Zealot.
Everyone thinks they're the hard carry and they need to do crazy dps to win. But if you've actually played with the average cata player, let alone the average legend player... they are not the hard carry. They are dead. If they simply stopped being dead, the mission would be far easier.
Especially legend. Playing with bots shows you just how little dps matters. The bots do basically no dps, and yet they're still good enough for legend. If the bots were programmed to walk forward they could probably complete legend more often than the average team.
So, I woul say zealot is better, because they're less likely to die. But, I've seen the average zealot player, I'm not sure how they do it but they die frequently, whereas whc players tend to do pretty well. I find him much more survivable personally but experience with other players makes me reconsider that, so idk which class is stronger but I'd rather have a whc.
All that said, IB is the best class. You can't ♥♥♥♥ it up. If only there were 4 ironbreakers even champion players could probably move up to cata. Ok admittedly that's a bit of an exaggeration, but at least they'd be carryable (and every class can carry so if even one of the IB's is decent they'd probably win).
