The devs have stated the the PC and console versions are too different.
For example consoles have fewer enemies on screen, the enemies have more HP, and special and horde timers are longer.
It COULD happen but I dont think its something thats actively being worked on or discussed.
Yeah…..no.
It comes with 2 advantages here.
First: I can block every elf I see AND I can block every ex-Dota 2 refugee that thinks his pathetic barely 100 hours ass is capable of going above Champion.
Second: This list is unlimited unlike Darktide's where you can barely block like 30 people. It should 1000 imo.
At the very least Darktide forces scrubs to levelcap before reaching Gold missions unlike V2 Legend that allows Dota2 noobs to do so with barely 20.
Unless they make Vermintide 2 get dedicated servers for everything and force dedicated servers, the chances of crossplay happening is 0%
The reason being is that Vermintide 2 PC and Vermintide 2 Console are pretty much two different versions of the same game
On Console enemies are more tanky and fewer as consoles are not as strong as a PC is, so to compensate for that they changed that. With more tanky enemies, stats are also slightly different
And given how dedicated servers are for Darktide, I dont want dedicated servers for Vermintide 2.
I dont want my hits randomly not being registered because the server disagrees with me.
I dont want a worse ping because the server in the EU is worse than the one in the US (and I live in germany aka the EU, dont ask me why I have LESS ping in the US)
I dont want the servers being literally more laggy for my friends than my peer2peer lobbies
I rather have the occasional host leaver (which can be combatted by just.. hosting yourself, or just playing with friends you make here or discord) than an unfixable and constant issue that affects the gameplay experience in a rather negative and unfun way
Also updates on the PC version I think are much quicker or easier from what I hear.
