Either is fine. You can go like I have and do a composite ranking too.
WHC: Very nice aesthetics combined with very nice gameplay that just fits Vic. The tag system is simply wonderful, as are Deathknell / Riposte(not a big fan of Flense). Ult is also quite awesome, especially if you go selfish(forced crits = forced kills, huge monster damage, procs galore, mega stagger ... oh my!)
Zlt: His aesthetics are ridiculous, but at the same time awesome(I love the Hammerkine tattoo ; take 2x Hammer and literally dream of hammers!), gameplay is WONDERFUL and completely unique and you still have the ranged option(=ridiculous). I just think WHC is overall better, but I would rather play this one.
WP: Good aesthetics and overall good gameplay, but I am just not a fan of this one. I always feel pressured in a way or another when playing this one and I just don't have that much fun. Needs some QoL to his weapons imo. And you are basically a +stat etc for your team. The worst thing? Most of his weapons are useable by Zlt, so...fail.
BH: I actually don't mind this one, even if it did function like it used to(a hybrid of range and melee) ; which QQ can be quite overwhelming tbh. Aesthetics are also interesting in a way that no other Vic's are(practical as opposed to ceremonial / official). Unfortunately, I find it just a meh option right now. Both among Vic careers and other "pew pew ranged" careers.
My personal rating would go: Zlt > WHC > BH > WP
OE: I don't particularly like it and it is not my #1 choice, but it is so OP right now, that I can't honestly put him anywhere else. His aesthetics are alright, but his gameplay is not. Crank is just ... annoying and while he can be alright in melee(Piston Power et al), I just don't want to play Engi with a shield, wtf?
IB: This one, otoh, is my #1. It is such a beautiful class with a lot of options for gameplay and beautiful aesthetics(too bad about the helm color mismatch). Ranged, melee, tank ... you can do whatever. Ult is kinda confusing though, not a big fan, but there is the +25% power option, so ...
Slayer: Aesthetics are ... ok(I want full bald, but meh), but boy is this class fun! I wouldn't say I like it better than IB, but it's up there and you better believe it. It can be a bit too much, depending on the day though. Slayer or Zealot? Tough choice, especially if I take Azdrek(ThrAxe) into account.
RV: Don't read too much into this placement, IB <-> RV are pretty close to each other. I basically see a RV as a more defensive or support oriented Huntsman. And there is barely anything he can't do. Stagger, farm thp, anti monster, anti horde, anti patrol, melee, ranged ... whatever you might wish. Not a big fan of aesthetics though(I mostly use Bakraz + x ; Karak Norn / Zhufbar have good color combos with shields ; Barak Varr somewhat too)
My rating: IB ~ SLY ~ RV >> OE (overall, quite a fun selection of options that I might play any, depending on the day ; most likely except OE)
WHC is leagues above the others, while Zealot is very safe in case you make mistakes (or deliberatly trigger invurnability to dps through what would otherwise kill people) the WHC supports the entire team with significant bonus damage against difficult targets and is safe by virtue of "playing basic mechanics" that's kinda his strength.
Sigmar Priest is just an overall fun support character and rock in the waves.
Bounty ... I don't know what bounty is. You are either a god among mortals or you are the worst team mate ever, I do not see bountys in between these two statements.
Kerillian:
HM = WS > SoTT=Shade
HM and WS are kinda equal to me but for different reasons. HM clutches your games (if you can play her) and keeps your team going, where as WS prevents your team from needing rescue to begin with by sniping dangerous enemies before they become a problem.
SoTT is a solid support and I love playing her, nearly immortal if your team can play decently well, the wall is either a detrement to your team or a match deciding tool of goodness. The poison is enough to help low DPS parties to push through things they would usually struggel with and elevates high damage classes even further. Great character for bosses and monsters.
Shade in decent hands can be an absolute damage machine, weaving through the enemies .. or ..just die because she isn't that easy to play. Still, her ability to delete CW and other dangerous melee Elites, deal decent damage against monsters and bosses and the range weapon for special support make her pretty good.
Bardin:
Engineer > > > Ironbreaker > Veteran > Slayer
Engineer was already capable of butchering an entire map before he got buffed, now it is just silly.
Ironbreaker doesn't die unless you want him to, has decent weapons for all situations and can equip the special weapons if you want to have fun, great character, don't play him too much or you unlearn how to play the game.
Veteran is a very good career for people who want to be ranged but suck at aiming (i.e. me) - his ammo generation is very beginner friendly and the speed reload crossbow is a joy to behold. Free bombs on ult, ability to just delete one target with the revolver or the ability to generate items for your team .. all of which makes him very strong.
Slayer - one of the most enjoyable classes to play but just not that good .. if you are good on slayer you are good on most careers and would likely be more effective on them.
Kruber
Footknight > Grail = Merc > Huntsman
Huntsman can be VERY good but the skill floor requirement makes me rank him last. Probably one of the most if not the most difficult character to get use out of but once you have him down he is a beast.
Grail is so good at killing elites and monsters that I as shade enjoyer frequently question why shade even exists in a game where grail knight exists... the vows can be very strong too.
Merc is a very solid swiss army knife and once you realise that your shout can do more than play a funny sound he gains massive team support / safe abilities.
Footknight .. I might be overvaluing the buffs he brings for your team and the durability he has but man ... a good foot knight feels even more capable of keeping your team together and alive than a handmaiden.
Sienna
Didn't play her since the patch but pre patch:
Battle Wizard > Unchained > Necro > Pyro
BW is quite safe and deals alot of damage with role chosen by staff - you can do what ever you want / your team needs and you will be good at it as long as it isn't straight up tanking.
Unchained (speaking of tanking) > The guy who tought me how to play vermintide 2 said something along the lines of: "Don't be scared of unchained, dieing with her should be an achievement." and I fully agree. She is hard to kill and very effective at controling hordes / generating space so your other team mates can do their thing.
Necro > Seems like she has the right buildingblocks for fun but I have not found the glue to make it all work together yet hence the low rating. To new to say anything more.
Pyro > .. I mean..it is pre patch Pyro .. I think only bounty could argue with her about having the worst skill tree in the game.
When he don't bring anything special except very nice landsknecht aesthetics(and cleave values). I too loved him, but that was before WoM, ancient times. But more about that later.
Both. Or any. I am open to all rankings. Mine was composite. I am not willing to put someone down just because I dislike him(see: OE), but it does influence rankings.

BaW: I honestly find her somewhat of an overloaded career. She should epitomize the feeling of a "battlemage", but she often is a better caster than even Pyro. BaW shouldn't have Volcanic, that's much more suited to Pyro. Regardless, ok aesthetics(voluminous robes are awesome even if those torches are below meh), fun and efficient ult and very safe DoT gameplay gives her high marks from me. I don't like the interaction with the passive and the red zone. At all.
Unchained: I really, really like this one with the exception of one thing. What it is. Or should be anyhow. Basically, a lost soul, an elemental. But if I ignore that, I love this career. Can be alright caster(with dissipate), an awesome melee, be it in tanky or dps role. Can even support with the Ult. Now, this is a Fire Bloodrager I've been talking about! Awesome ult, btw. Oh and the armor is so cool with that massive breastplate, locks, chains etc. I just find it disappointing that her best armor, imo, is her basic armor. Others are quite meh.
Pyro: My personal #1, but I haven't tried her since the update. As I said under BaW, I would replace this moronic Ride with Volcanic and give something else to BaW. Pyro is supposed to be the caster, after all. And her crit rotation based gameplay was nothing but smooth. And all that Fire! How can I not love this one? Ok, the aesthetics are kinda meh, can't we have robes + candles? Or, be still my heart, robes + Pyrodeus! O.o (ult is mostly utilitarian, it sucks offensively)
Necro: I ... just don't know. It is a cool change with some nice ideas and options and themes, but ... I find the skeleton part actually quite annoying, what with all the micro required(otherwise they deal next to no damage and / or crumble like paper) and ... I just don't like it. Sure, I could just recycle and cast more than even Pyro, but ... I don't know.
My list: Pyro >~ Unc > BaW >> Necro
That Kruber list is interesting. Care to explain?
I agree 99,9% the only thing I disagree is the slayer part, the rest is exactly like you said.
GK is the best kruber career by far having insane DPS,Above average boss damage, Insane elite killing, Great THP(On kill+his elite killing +Virtue of stoicism), great CC, He ♥♥♥♥♥ strength pots which gives him amazing value with concoction, team buffs such as 10% more power, health regen,CDR,damage reduction are all really strong
Merc increases your teams tankiness, provides THP, Strike together for increased DPS, has really good horde damage while having a hight spammable ult with a knockback to save your team from most disablers.
FK is very strong with a high carry potential but lacks the DPS output of Merc, has less cleave and has an ult that only staggers units while lacking the benefits to team damage output survivability etc.
Huntsman is just bad.
Maybe Im just good at him, but played right he can clear all elites and specials before they even reach the team. Routinely have games with 50 all the way up too 100 specials killed.
and 100+ elite kills.
Biggest mistake is people see that the bow is only usable by him and think that means that it must be soooo good.
Its fine, but handgun and repeater rifle are what are going to make you an unstoppable machine.
Bow is a distraction meant to weed out the weak. (ps this is a joke and you can play whatever you like as meta is overrate as hell)
