as bad as before the update and the bombs help him with that he can spam them but i think
he still bad in all the more important situations tho i was always bad with him lol
People are screaming because now OE can get a bomb every 80 seconds and bombs have no FF damage with the effects of both types. Personally I find it kind of fun being a bomb dispenser for the group, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets nipped in the bud at some point.
I think he don`t need to, badly, nerf. Wizzard needs a nerf (since have bug).Maybe its best to buff others to his level, have some specials when in cooperation.
He has bomb talents. But they also nerfed his rate of fire, so if you decide to go without the bombs, you're pretty screwed. Takes ages to rev up and when it does, its still slow.
I guess they wanted people to choose Linked Compression Chamber for once instead of going 50 % longer and specials extend it. Sadly that 50% longer is what makes it actually useful. Instead of 4 seconds of killing 5 rats, you could have killed with your melee.
Or maybe the idea is that Innovative Ammo Hoppers is for boss damage. But then you are still SUPER vulnerable while shooting.
OE is a better bomber than RV now. Which suits him fine, but RV is kinda obsolete now? Except for the unlimited ammo MWP shenanigans.
Also the Trollpedo should not be affected by the no FF change.
I mean, did you actually play him? New talent that refills bar on overcrank means 50% more bar isn't required at all, 4 seconds you can refill your whole bar which is stupid. And you don't need a full refill most times, single overcrank guarantees you can shoot at elites or special. Overcrank is also super busted right now, granting +45% crit. LCC was taken prior to this patch if you wanted to use your crankgun more like a secondary weapon, whip it out only for elites. As per patch notes, 15% crit per stack on Overclock is a mistake though, and it's apparently supposed to be 5% per stack. Given the previous patch note said 10% and was wrong though, I'm not sure I trust them.
Agree that LCC severely outperforms Hoppers now. I think the balancing intention was they wanted us to take Full Head of Steam 15% attack speed to counterbalance the slowdown to base rate for Crankgun. But Overcrank is so much better than Full Head right now, there's no point to.
