She's a lot of fun tbh.
If you never touched Sienna, Necro will not change that. She's a fun class, but she feels slow, at least for me. Sienna was never a beginner-friendly class, so if you really want to try her out, I'd advise to wait for a sale
Is the career any good, as in blessed with power creep? No, the Necromancer class isn't even in the ballpark of a Battle Wizard's performance. I see little reason to take her over unchained, which is probably the closest match of her careers, as far as the roles in the team are concerned.
but thanks anyway
They are charging us 4 american buckaroos.
Doesnt that mean you are getting charged considerably more since the euro is stronger than the dollar?
Edit. Jebus, nvm I checked the conversion for the first time in awhile and the difference is almost nothing. Euro fell a lot.
Battle Wizard is awesome and the most beginner-friendly Sienna career. I mainly play Kerillian and Unchained. Unchained is amazing, looks badass and does high amounts of damage but it can be a bit difficult to not blow up at times especially before you get used to her. So far I really like Necromancer.
Also, Sienna's weapons are really good, I'd recommend the Fire Sword, Dagger and the Flaming Flail (with the flail a patrol of shielded storm vermin are so much easier to kill). The new scythe is also quite fun (especially on Unchained) and has a fun special attack, although it does feel a bit slow in Chaos Wastes. The new staff reminds me of Darktides Psyker's Brain Burst, which generates a lot of heat but easily snipes stuff with little effort. There are a lot of weapon-staff combos to play with.
I definitely recommend trying Sienna out ^^
If you are not looking for something OP, then yes.
Let's sum it up.
Scythe is an amazing new addition to the game with quite simple combo's and very fun special attack, not out of the ordinary power wise, but it is good and most importantly very fun to use.
Soulstealer staff M1 is very meh, it has some stagger and applies the DoT which is needed by quite few of her talents, besides that it's quite underwhelming, the M2 attack although is a perfect tool for very long range sniping - works kind of like SoT staff, except instead of a lift you have 1shot kill, takes a while to detonate - but there is no fall off on any range.
Talents and gameplay itself - it's something new and unique. Quite fun. There's as much micromanagement as you willing to perform with skeletons, DoT's, staff and talent mechanics.
If you don't enjoy Sienna overall, I would suggest to play in few lobbies with necromancers and see how does her gameplay look to you. If you are new to the game, then first try to play with Sienna a bit before considering buying her.
