There is a solution to this problem, adding to the "black list of steam", through the tabs view - players.
A certain player who does not suit you in the manner of passing will not have access to your lobby in the game (- leaves the game) - synchronization of steam servers with servers of Vermintide 2.
It helps a lot when you come across too "salty players
About half the games I'm getting no audio cues so I'm constantly getting hit from behind, getting hit and downed through full stamina blocks and if I handgun from the hip missing like 100% of the time when games bugging even if I'm so close the guns in the middle of their torso.
So maybe it's not always the players are crap when the games so random how it runs.
I joined and there is a 300+ ping player and another 150ish. The game joined me in a weird spot on a ledge, so I couldn't back up as I guess I was already past the invisible wall?
No worry, I was engi so I start shooting, only to be guttered instantly, went from 100 health to down, with a player right next to me the entire time.
I get picked up and someone sets off a patrol right as a khorne horde starts coming, I blasted everything I could and ran outta minigun, swapped over to troll hammer and volleyed a few shots into horde / pat.
2 people go down, me and one other fighting in a corner, but its pretty hopeless. No reload on troll hammer and my mini guns out, as I die I get the "you have been removed from the game" message.
Fun stuff, 3 more for the block list.
It became so bad, I surely failed ~50% of the missions, that I switched to Champion earlier then I intended to, and it's going way better there.
Also try to warn about it so we can adapt.
It have no sense to train at lower difficulties, since you got accustomed to lower difficulties, get habits from lower difficulties, etc.
I saw morre long-time "pro" legend and champ players suck as hell on cata, than newcomers rushing to it. And there is reason for it.
Newcomers in most cases are not delusional about their strenght. They play super cautiosly and work for a tem. Lege players, on other hand... they try to play like they do on lege and inevitably fail.
I got your frustration, OP, but honestly, if you are not ready for QP - just play private. If you go in QP - be ready to interact with such peaple. If they are receptive - build up on it. If they are not - kick/block them. If you just ignore them - you make things worse for everybody.
And elitism is rarely an answer.
If you're mindset is to block a player because you think they are bad, but in reality they are in the process of evolving their play style and awareness. Then you are the bad player who is actually trying to ride the coat tails of good players to win.
Inspire and dazzle new blood with your skill. Show them whats possible. Until then, get good.
And that is why what OPdemonstrated is actually "bad player mentality".
If you are actually good - you can carry the game. Or you can coordinate people to get through it.
And if you cant - then youre either bad r normal player. In this case you should try to cooperate with your teammates to win.
But once you start blaming others for "making you carry them"... well, if you actually capable of carrying them - you dont care. So since youdo... it is not easy for you. And that means you just looking for excuse for your poor performance.
Not to mention, that those who grow always looking for their own faults first. And since this game is solo-able (w/o bots), you always have room to grow. And if you looking for mistakes of others... that does not paint good picture. Bad players are those, who dont grow and learn, and blaming externalities is what all bad players do.
Anyway, being frustrated by poorly=performing teammate is understandable, human. But it is also bad, and you better recognize it, OP, and start being better both as human and as player.
