For a lazy sod like me, nothing beats the Flail.
Oh, you have armour? Flail don't care. Flail smash!
Oh, you have a shieldr? Flail don't care. Flail smash!
Also ignore anyone who links you a public guide they are all horrible.
Fatshark should make a 'can opener' illusion for it, because its heavy attacks just destroy CWs.
A lot of people also seem to like the billhook, though I don't have a lot of experiences with it so I can't say much other then to try it yourself if you can.

Other good picks are rapier for whc or bh (bh only when you mainly use ranged and only use rapier as a means to get out of sticky situations). Zealot with rapier is viable but your wrist will hate you afterwords. It aint called RSI zealot for a reason. Axe and Falchion is also good. Decent mobility. Good elite damage and ok vs hordes.
Other weapons cant compete with those.
that requires buying winds of magic, which is a straight NOPE from most people. Not worth buying for one weapon
