Link to the Reddit discussion on the topic, since great majority of the votes seemingly comes from Reddit users: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vermintide/comments/8rqzk7/favourite_class_polls_results/

I don't know why this bothers me so much, but it does.

That's interesting. Its like all the classes I play (other than kruber I play merc more, but I don't play kruber much anyways). I always thought the classes I play were the second most played classes, except handmaiden where I thought she was least played. I'm wondering what this would have been a month or 2 ago before people realized that its actually possible to kill things in melee, especially when you take half damage (like 4/5 of the classes at the top).

Too bad those pools mean absolutely nothing, the kerillina one is the onyl one taht begins to have something of a high enoguh number of ppl, but even then the ppl going on forums and reddit, are NOT representative of the average player

Well yes, but this is true of most polls. If it were actually an important topic, you could give it to a news site, it would get published, and people would believe it was representative. Do you really need much better than that? Its pretty hard to get an actually representative poll.

And that is why there are so much false information running around in todays society

Yeah, the stroll is basically my experience in legend. Especially the handmaidens. Oh, how i hate them. A good handmaiden seems to be extremely rare.

as they say thers a lie, theres a blatant lie and then theres statistics

On legend, all I ever see are shades/WS (HM is so rare outside of speedrunning). Also.. IB > slayer by count in legend by far. I would say ranger is more played that slayer there.

I can see this being semi accurate from a champ perspective, but not from legend in the slightest. Merc more popular than huntsman? That is funny.

I didn't expect Slayer to be that popular.

It's possibly all the Warhammer Fantasy fans, particulary the Gotrek and Felix readers.

Ohh that how it is said in englihs, Always wonderd how that proverb would be in english, if I were to translate the danish version I know directly it would be more along the line of "there is black lies, white lies, and then there's statistics" :P

Yeah as I mentioned earlier between between small sample size, as well as the sample he does have not being representative of the general playerbase, makes this poll utterly useless for anything concrete

Popularity =/= Most played

I'm more than confident that as much as people love Slayer that they predominantly play IB. Same for the Bounty Hunter.
Its also slayer mains like slayer mkre than IB mains like IB. Most people with no real preference just play IB cause it's easier, and people think its stronger (probably because its easier). A lot of slayer mains really like slayer, probably because he's unique so people who play him do so because he's the exact niche they're looking for. As a result, I think slayer mains are more likely to vote in the poll, whereas for example I have no real preference in Kruber careers and thus had no reason to vote in the kruber poll.

Well that means just about the exact same thing.
