Graphics Settings - Visibility?

My pc is good enough to play the game on extreme settings, however all the sun / fog / lense flair and spell effects makes it impossible to see during a horde, its just a cluster of effects all over the place. What are peoples settings that make the game still look good, but let you actually see what the hell is going on?

turn off all lightning, flare and fancy effects, leave just textures and animation on MAX.

My computer isn't good enough to play the game on anything but lowest really, and in all honesty it looks ugly but its good enough. Character and Enviroment Textures on max, maybe Shadows as well, is probably the only thing that won't get in the way of vision. I would suggest having Ambient Light Quality on High because there's a bit during the last mission, Skittergate, that will practically blind you with how bright it is if you don't have it on.

The only thing you should kept on in the lighting/shadow panel is the volumetric fog
