Falchion or rapier for bounty hunter?

Whichever you like more. A lot of people will say falchion, but I find both effective. Rapier works best with a slightly more defensive playstyle, in my opinion.

Both are really good, I tend to switch between the two from time to time. Try to use both for a few missions and pick the one that you find the most fun or most effective to use.

If you use Cooldown on Crits for your Rapier, the offhand pistol is pretty great for restoring your ability. Slash until something dies, shoot into the horde. Builds up quickly.

I prefer rapier because it`s great at crowd control.

Swift Slaying. An argument can be made with Off Balance on a rapier though.

Falchion with the trait that speeds up your attack speed on crit hits. Turns Saltpyre into an armour-piercing lawnmower of death.

I have a Falchion that has Swift Slaying on it (+20% attack speed for 5.0 seconds when landing a critical hit) and do not have any exotic Rapier yet.

falchion is just better than all his weapons in every way, it was stupid giving it armor penetration on its light attacks, just nerf that and now rapier and flail are actaully worth to pick up

If you are wanting the most effective by a landslide, then flachion. Can you still get the job done with rapier? Easily.
