Does "Toadman" ring a bell?
I'm sorry for... maybe not posting this in the most correct place, but here goes anyways.

I'm trying to find info on this studio: https://toadmaninteractive.com/games/
And they mention they worked on Vermintide. Does anyone recognize them? What have they worked on? Anything noteworthy about the work they did on the game or the patches that came out during their work?

They've recently begun work on five new projects, one of them being a game that I had a lot of involvement in it's community (tragic end for it, sadly), so I caught wind of that (through an update to the depot: https://gyazo.com/6e3cf0c523bb89bb77c2457b6128f70c ). We're all wondering what they want to do with the game (their site just says they're gonna release the games in 2019), so I decided to do some digging to check what kind of company they were to maybe shed some light on what they could possibly be doing to these games.

If you could help me with any details, I would really appreciate it, thanks.

I have absolutely no idea what part this company played in Vermintide at all and Im with both games since 2015 and I never heard of them.

Its likely they did some outsourced work and thats it.

I can't right now but maybe look at a video of the credits for both games to see if they're listed in there?

It literally says on that website you linked they did consultant work. so they made some suggestions in regards to visual design, most likely.

Oops, I glossed over this as others' games' descriptions were not very helpful.
Paying attention is important, I've actually noticed this on a few other games too.

It's kind of weird that they seem to mostly do consulting jobs... yet now they're working on multiple titles? One of them is with an apparently big name in the industry.

It's all really strange.
EDIT: No, like, one of those five games is pretty old, and died THREE TIMES with three revival attempts. Why would anyone spend money on that game is way beyond me.
