Did you recently get him to level 10? iirc all characters move their stuff from the main hall to a private room (or tent for Kerillian) when they reach level 10. I can't point out exactly where Saltzpyre's is, but I'm pretty sure his room is in an underground hallway.
Speaking of their rooms, does anyone know where poor Kruber's room is now? (if he still has one). His old room is now unavailable due to the entrance to the Chaos Wastes chamber. I even climbed around outside to see if I could reach it, to no avail.

His room is in the exact same spot it always was. The only difference is that the right side entrance was removed to accommodate the Pilgrimage room.

Upon spawning into the Keep, take the stairs on the right and enter the second doorway you encounter (if you went through the correct one, the door to the Trophy Room should be on your left), go up the small stair on your right and the first door you encounter will be Kruber's Quarters.
