Checked the screenshot you posted. Honestly, 180+ FPS at maximum graphix is really nice in 2k. Cant wait to get my 3080, im waiting for the second wave. Ill have 9900K though so the FPS will be slightly less.

Currently on a 8600k and an rtx2070 and i have FPS fluctuating between 80 and 144 FPS on minimum graphix in 1440p.

Card shines in 4k. Only around 20% improvement over a 2080ti at 1440p, where as at 4k it's like a 30% avg increase. So not surprising with zero driver maturity.

no. the card power throttling . easily if this can be sustain. we are looking at another 20% fps boost. whats the avg clovk 1890-1900 at 99% 375watts..thats how much it is being powerlimited.

gonna wc this or strix 3080.. but now hmm kindda get what 3090 issues gonna be.

nvidia tdp calculation is based on temp same as intel using vid @100c and dropping vcore down every 1c difference

Reports are that you need to hit like 400W to get some gains form an OC. Absolutely tits efficiency. Really makes me thnk AMD might be able to compete with a 3080 if the 8nm node is this mediocre a jump from 12nm.

nope...

dont read into noob reviewers who dont game.. since i only game vermintide mainly and been upgrading alot for this game.. multiple cpu etc..

to get a sustain non throttle.. you need to watercool this .. with a mod bios of 450watt.

my take on this.. atm .the card is throttle either on power, temps or by cpu.. so its like you can settle 2 out of 3 but not all realistically..

i recorded a game in 4:4:4 max graphics 1440p. its nuts. card didnt even flinch.

What are you even talking about? The 3080 rapes the 2080 with 60-70% more FPS. It also beats the 2080ti with average 30% more. This is huge. You may want to check on your expectations? You bought a sports car but complain that its not a spaceship.
