How to get the first Grimoire of Righteous Stand

So for some reason fatshark decided to change the method on how you acquire this grim yet again, making this the second time they've changed it by my count, leaving me and the rest of my group clueless on how we even get our hands on it.

If anyone knows the new method I'd appreciate the info.

Near the shelves with grim there are two boxes stack on top of each other and above them - hole in the ceiling. Just go up like you would normally progress, when you get to the place with destroyed (now) floor - drop on the boxes and then jump your way to the grim.

you have to drop down onto the two stacked crates from above then jump across. yes that means a bit of a walk if you fall or miss the crates. I thought that the way most people where doing it was a nice little jumping puzzle, not to dificult and not to obvious. hope this helps

It's much easier from the corner of the hole. Dropping down ontop of th ecrates will bounce you off the wall.

lol I wasn't being serious. I figured somebody would have figured it out by the time I made it to that point in the level, figured out how to do it and uploaded.

its in the patch notes, apparently the old method of using the sloped bed mattress is an purely evil unforgiveable SIN shortcut, us evil nasty players should never have used it. so they added a wall to stop us and our sinful shortcutting. as reviously mentioned, you have to go up to the holein the floor/cieling where the barrel is and drop down onto the box in the corner and then hop accross as normal.

That piece of floor was always destroyed.

After hundreds of hours, changes like these are just annoying. I mean, do they really have the time to do that? I don't get their priorities.

I agree. The difficulty from picking up books comes from the health debuff and occuppied supply slots - not from a silly jumping puzzle and additional hordes because of backtracking all day long.

I wasn't serious as well (who would have give their thread's biggest achievement away *wink*).

I've played Righteous Stand since last patch only once and I noticed that this spot is somehow different than before. When my elf comrade asked "how to get grim?" with "useless mayflies" on his mind - my witch hunter senses turned all detective-mode. Letters, numbers, functions flew before my eyes and bluish x-ray vision led me on track. After getting the grim "useless lumberfoot" elf even said "good job saltz" - that was the most rewarding experience since patch dropped.

One might argue that finding them is another challenge but we all know, that this is only the case for a handfull of really dedicated people (Thanks btw - I watched your videos). And only the first time around.
