Correct order of maps to get the story?
So, i'm planning on doing a solo run through the entire game now, is there a specific order for me to get the story right?

Run each act in order.
The levels don't have a story. Each on its own is a puzzle-piece in the grand scheme of things.
Technically they are connected. Olesya always has a story to tell after you complete one of the missions, it usually leads to introducing the next map, but overall: You fully understand what is going on, even without going in-order.

Other than that, missions unlock one after the other, so you don't have much of a choice other than playing them in at least a vague order.

use brain. Do the missions from left to right, act 1 to 3 then Skittergate

the reason am asking this is because i unlocked all of them using quick play, so they were not necessirly in order the first time i ran them.
good tip on the Olesya thing, i had no idea. thanks for the help

use manners, and stop presuming you're smarter than other people. if it sounds too obvious to be asked, then there is probably another reason why people asked..

the thing is, it only tells me the acts at the end of the mission and not on the mission select screen, given that when i first played the game, quickplay only gave me "against the grain" , I assumed that this was Act 1 , when it's actually act 3 ( i think? ) ..
so yeah, i was confused, why would the last mission of act 1 be the only one I didn't unlock yet?! even though Act 3 (which is actually 1 ? ) has all the mission unlocked..
anyway, thanks for the input

Not presuming anything except that OP has a brain, like any human being should. Are you saying that's too much to presume?
We have numerical systems meant to help us categorize and order things. In this game, we have 3 Acts, neatly titled Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3. Using the numerical systems we've created throughout history ( and every single modern society, no matter how different, has a counting system), you can deduct that Act 1 is considered the first act, Act 2 the second, and Act 3 the last.

As for the missions, you unlock them from left to right, leading up to a boss fight mission. From that, you can assume that the order in which they happen goes from left to right. And once all acts are complete, you unlock the Skittergate mission.

Using all this information, this incredibly complicated information, you can figure out that the order the missions all go in are Act 1, 2, and then 3, going from left to right, then Skittergate.
Wow, that was so much work to figure out, I am so so smart and superior to everyone.

In other words, instead of using Quickplay, figure out that there's a mission list and from there look at the order of everything. Ask dumb questions, get dumb and rude responses.

1. You are completely wrong. Maps have interlinked storyline.
2. He isn't asking for understanding, but story order.

i like how you pretend to be smart by using strawman arguments and completely dismissing the question thats actually being asked. think before you type bud

Why do we keep getting hints that Siennas new career has to do something with Necromancy?
